Again I am blown away by all the kind words and support from all who have joined me on this journey. I'm learning so much from doing this project. If you have a journal of your own to share, leave a reply to this comment, I would love to see it. I try to read all the comments in chunks, if I miss you or don't reply know that I appreciate you, even all the negative stuff, Also I'm currently working on a vid going over my process, if you have any questions you want answered reply with a question on this comment. sorry about the audio issues this video, I'm going to try and make sure that doesn't happen again.

I've always wanted to continue drawing, but a lot of the time I don't know what to do. this honestly inspires me to draw stuff from video games! I hope you do something similar in the future! maybe with a different game you love

I had a phase like that, the not knowing what to draw, many years ago, and I started drawing the different jobs from Final Fantasy Tactics haha. Good times, I highly recommend commemorating your favourite characters from your favourite games and watch yourself progress through the years! I usually keep all my sketchbooks too, but occasionally I've given some away to best friends. Drawings and sketches are also fun to share via snail mail to friends that live in other cities. =D

I'm REALLY enjoying this series. It's fascinating to me not only to see your FANTASTIC artwork, but to hear your takes on what's actually going on in the world. Particularly the things you get wrong or aren't sure of, and why you think what you think. Please, never apologize for not being a big lore KZbinr. I watch plenty of those already. Your insights as someone just experiencing the game as an ordinary person (with extraordinary art skills) are valuable and fascinating in their own right. I'm looking forward to Part 3!

I can't believe after all these years I've never done this for a game I've played. You've inspired me to try this for Shadow of the Erdtree; I've already prepared the book, I'm super nervous. Also, I believe Hyetta is quite literally Irina's corpse possessed by Shabriri. I could be wrong, but at last check Hyetta won't spawn until Irina has died outside Castle Morne.

Limgrave was a fever dream, it was rushed and full of experimenting to figure out what I was doing with the book. In Liurnia I slowed down and and had a game plan, I settled on the calligraphy style and how to balance the in game stuff with my own wacky ideas. All sketchbooks are an evolution like that for me. Sometimes they get worse but I'm learning regardless.

This touched me really deep. Your love for both the game and art is fascinating and listening to your personal journey is so interesting and calming at the same time. Your approach to both game and art appreciation is really...something. Something really inspiring. From Software MUST see this. Your dedication should be rewarded with DLC's Collector's Edition at the very least, because holy shit, I doubt there's any other person who put SO much appreciation into their game.

This is one of the coolest things I have EVER seen. I love exploring characters and people in character, or like... these big moments that stick with you quietly being put into such amazing work. I often think of these things and at most I can do is just write about them haha, no where near the level of artistry. I think the seemed casualness of this collection is what drops people's jaws. This is something you simply worked on for your own sake, and like many creations like it, it's become a true masterpiece.

This comment might be a bit long but I'd like to tell you something. I found the first part of this video probably a few weeks ago and was absolutely amazed. To be honest I didn't watch the video fully but I was inspired. I'm not an artist, never have been, probably never will be. But last february I was on a trip to Florence with a few of my ex-classmates and my teachers. The point was to study history of art. And I had this journal where I wrote about the history of the places we were visiting since I am a student of archaeology and history is my thing. So I started sketching in my journal what we were seeing - paintings, buildings, sculptures. A few months later I started sketching scenes or characters from different books I was reading and never thought more of it. But after seeing your video and getting inspired I set out to do what you did (in a much, MUCH smaller scale). I was inspired to sketch scenes from movies, TV shows and video games. I'm writing this a few hours after finishing my Blade Runner drawings in my journal - that same journal which is now running out of blank pages. So I sit watching your video and I thank you for the motivation and wish you the best of luck so you can keep doing what you clearly love to do. May God multiply your talent. Much love from Armenia.

This is actually one of the best fan-made works ive ever seen for any game ever, thank you for sharing. It is truly a work of art. You could scan all these pages and make it into a book and I'm 100% sure many (including myself) would buy a copy. If you enjoy Elden Ring you'd also love Bloodborne (made by FromSoftware also); I would absolutely love to see the kind of illustrations you'd make for that game, it would probably be mind blowing.

What a find this video. My dude, this sketchbook is an art. Come on. It's a thing of beauty. Watching this after playing Elden Ring is a nice retrospective journey. It brings joy to my heart seeing again those characters and places but painted by other Tarnished. This is just beautifull. Fantastic work.

This is incredible. I'm thrilled to see the part 2. I love that you relive your own run by the pages of this book and share it with us. Honestly, this book could be the single best art piece about Elden Ring, ever. Please, do continue.
