Dude….i truly loved this podcast but as POC it’s getting impossible to watch and listen to. Erin and Matt come off sooooo tone deaf. Even the fact that when they speak on issues the POC are dealing with they remain completely silent or say something so completely off…I don’t think it’s a lack of knowledge it comes off as just ignorant.

Mike was always my favorite part of the podcast as he was seemingly the most free thinking. Of all people, I thought he would address and overcome his own programming and bias. I suppose that’s how deeply ingrained this is. But the rhetoric he decided to post (and being co-signed Carly) and like was so deeply disappointing. Also it would be nice to see one person of color at your weddings. You have fans of all races. There isn’t a Carly and Erin vlog I’ve ever missed. So imagine the isolation when I realize there’s not one person in your life that looks like me. was so proud of Erin when she realized her own bias when RHOA was the ONLY housewives she hadn’t watched. But please consider opening up your social circle. It would expand your perspectives. Not just a trendy BLM thing.

AM I THE A**WHOLE???? We got invited to a Halloween party that’s in 4 days from now so we don’t have that much time to plan. okay so my friends and I the other day had agreed on to be swans for Halloween as a trio. We would look the same but different colors. When they showed me inspo pics from Pinterest I thought it was a good idea…. Later on next day in the group chat my friend was sending us Amazon links for the different things we could get for our matching costumes. Everything was fine until she sent the tutus….. and both of my friends loved the tutus but I honestly didn’t like them at all. So I told them how I didn’t like the tutus so I’ll find a different skirt to match. They said they were okay with it. Then come today I was trying to still find the skirt and I get a text saying that my friends already ordered their costumes. And I was like shit this is bad I need to find something. Long story short I ended up not liking my swan costume at all and I didn’t want to waste money on a costume I ended up not liking you know. So I told my friends I’m sorry but it looks like this didn’t work out like the way I thought it would so I found a princess goddess costume that I actually liked that was pretty similar to their swan costumes. But then they got mad at me because I apparently ditched them on the plan (which what I was not trying to do I was actually trying my best to cooperate with this cool idea) and they also said that I disrespected the costume idea and I was hurting their feelings bc of it. And I was like I’m sorry yall feel that way but that was never the intention. And I feel bad bc I didn’t think it would be such a big deal to them but I guess I was wrong. But I did end up apologizing and I think we are okay now. But do you think I’m the asswhole?
