My grandpa had an ambassador with a pickup truck drivetrain with full custom exhaust, a longer wheel base and higher roof, a huge vertical rectangle headlamps, and a solid bull figure on the hood, it was kinda cool as we could hear it coming from half a kilometer away and the fun part was it could go at 100+ on highway with its bulky body, sadly he had to part ways with it due to strict laws and later it was rotting in the garage and couldn't be salvaged

You should use standalone ecu with custom wire harness so you wont have wiring headaches to put different engine and different dash panel. You can also have boost controller with standalone ecu. And please tune the engine. Do it properly and it will last.

I have a Sykline R35. On the dyno its running at 940 horses. Am into upgrading cars. I too have a 124 but it runs on a R34 engine. Am getting around 450 horses at stage 2 mapping. I would love to invite you guys over (might be wishful thinking) to my workshop (not that I own it, but my club members 'G2 Privat' upgrade their cars there). We have a wonderful car upgrade culture here (although most of the upgrade is illegal) in Malaysia.
