That’s 100%…. I fished a 460 + boat tournament back in the day when everyone took off on a shotgun blast. My partner forgot his tackle box in the back of the truck so I literally had to go back to the boat ramp. While he went to get his box I started throwing a spinner bait and had 3 nice fish in the boat when he got back. We put another two fish in the live well with in 10 minutes. It was in August and Texas hot that day. We fished all day with out another bite! Go to way in and most people 2-3 fish and some didn’t weigh in lol we had a little over 14 pounds and took 3rd…. Lol all because my brother in law for got his tackle box!

There were vengence fisherman in SoCal; hooks in bait for seals; NOAA, gave us guidelines to "deter" the seals from harassing us; I used a Wrist-Rocket slingshot, and steel ball bearings. First time, a big bull came up, and "SMACK" that blubber - he never returned, and probably told his buds to leave our boat alone. STINGER. Also, used on commerical boat, who's customers would sling iron at us, until we returned fire and the Capt would be radioed who the IDIOT was.

Several years ago my family came up from Virginia for a visit, we decided after diner to go to a public dock to fish and crab . After getting everyone all set up, a rental boat came out of the marina 2 adults 1 child...I kept telling them to move further away from the dock because they were to close. They had the entire bay to themselves. But they continued to run along the front of the dock where we were fishing. I told everyone in my family to real in their lines until the boat passed by, just than I notice my pole moving " yes in fact the A-hole ran over my line " I yelled at him to stop telling him my line was in his wheel...he gave me the finger and started yelling the f bomb . With my relatives and my Dad standing there , I simply said watch this...280 plus yards of line was being stripped of my reel , I took out my knife and waited until it was almost spooled than cut it free ! That's when the fun began, the boat was about a 150 yards from the dock when the engine stopped dead...all if my line was wrapped around his wheel. He lifted the motor up to find all 280 yards wrapped around his prop ! He continued to yell for help as they drifted across the Bay...I refused to lift a finger 😂

If you come up and your respectful man I ha e given the very lure to the guy and will gladly fish together no problem. Clark Hill lake and killing the hybrids and people around me were not catching them so i would tell them what im using and if they didnt have it id loan them one. If they broke off and lost it then oh well heres another. We would sometimes be 10 boats deep in a cove but thats not a problem to most of us. One guy had his trolling motor go down so i tied to his boat to keep him out there for an extra hour while the hybrids were going crazy. We ended up catching way over our limits and had to throw a bunch back.

Just because someone is working the down the bank doesn't mean I have to wait for them to finish to set up on my spot. If he was doing the same thing you were and cut you off, that is a BS move on his part but if he was targeting a specific spot then he was in the right, well until he turned into a man-child,no excuse for that behavior.

If you rewatch the video and listen closely to the beginning, OC said that they were fishing the bank along the side of that part of the lake, then the other guy states "I came right here to this point and y'all kept coming" stating that he got in front of OCs boat basically cutting them off from going down that side of the bank, hope this helps you understand it a little!!
