I'm writing this AGAIN - This video is not at all typical of my channel. I just wanted to make a video report about the work we did this week and the handover of 10 drones to our heroes in Pokrovsk. I didn't intend to interview anyone at all. Especially since due to constant sleep deprivation I can't really formulate a question. But apparently, my selfie stick attracted so much attention on Friday that I was stopped on the streets by men who wanted to talk to the whole world and tell me what they thought about the war, orcs, putin, and so on. We (my kids, Richie, Tosik, and I) assembled and sent 10 fpv-drons to the Ukrainian Heroes who are fighting in Pokrovsk. The situation there is extremely difficult for our soldiers. Ruzzians have blown up all the bridges, logistics are very complicated. Let's pray together that my friend, who is driving there right now and carrying OUR drones, gets there alive and unharmed and delivers our help to the Ukrainian Heroes. one observation i made Vita, the masks you bought dont protect you from toxic air polution you should buy FPIII masks in a DIY store, they have a carbon filter, they are also used to protect you from the fumes when you paint, cheers

I laughed out loud, repeatedly, watching Tosik "help" with the drone assembly. 🙂 He reminds me of my own, who "helped" to make the bed every day, for 16 years, by relocating to the exact corner I was going to work on next. For future drones, try to get the ones with the X frame that is a single solid carbon fibre 3d printed part, they are more rigid once the cross members are added and fly better when carrying a munitions load. (according to the teams who process the donated drones in preparation for deployment (they were on another YT channel) discussing the vast range of kit sent in.)

Something about the flag of Ukraine makes me happy when I see it. Here in USA, I love my red, white, and blue as much as anyone. Despite our own mistakes, issues and disagreements, it still means freedom to me. BUT the Ukraine flag, with it's radiant blue and yellow, to me it means Life. I like when the guy in the sunglasses (Terry) talked about what he read. I especially like it when he mentioned the Book of Revelation. That is my favorite book in the Bible. A lot of the symbolism has roots back in the Ancient Greek mystery religions. Being of Greek descent I was always interested in the Greek classics. I also got into Jung (and Freud a little), among others, when I was a teenager living with a woman who turned out to be schizophrenic. That was a trip. I first read Revelation almost half a century ago. My brother gave me an album by Vangelis titled "666" based on the Book of Revelation. So, I put on the album, got high (it was the late 1970s after all; I don't even drink alcohol now) and read the book through in one sitting. It was magical. Actually, Terry's English is very good, and I like that he speaks it with an American, not a British, accent. Sounds very Mid-Atlantic. I am not anti-British by the way, I actually lived and worked there for a time. I just prefer the American accents, and we have lots of them. Some of those I don't like. Vita, just a question. In your linguistics teaching do you discuss accents?
