That’s the way to explore LA, in a convertible! Did you know that both Las Vegas and Los Angeles have about 325 days of sunshine every year? It’s true that you cannot explore Los Angeles in a week, it could take years to see all of the sights. Did you make it to the Griffith Observatory to watch the sunset?

Next time when you do that , don't rush it , give yourself a lot of time , so that when you see something nice you can stop . The journey is the fun part .. Safe travels . The average thermostat setting in the United States is around 71°F (22 C) during the day and night. However, the ideal temperature depends on a number of factors, including: Region: People in the South tend to set their thermostats higher, while people in the Northeast tend to set them lower. Comfort: Some people may prefer a warmer or cooler home than others. Energy costs: Setting your thermostat higher when it's not too hot can help save energy. Season: You might want to set your thermostat lower when it's extremely hot outside. Time of day: You might want to set your thermostat higher when you're away or at night. Here are some other recommended thermostat settings: Sleeping: 60-67°F Infants: 65-74°F Houseplants: 60-75°F Pets: 64-78°F

It was great to hear your thoughts, Tanya. Yeah, you can't see Los Angeles and Southern California all in one trip 😊. I've visited there 7 or 8 times and every time I visit I do something different. Now that I've seen Hollywood and Beverly Hills a few times I haven't spent much time in Los Angeles itself my last few visits but rather drove south to hang out near the beaches down in Orange County and San Diego.

@@Tanyafiona McWilliams, Carey, 1905-1980, author. Southern California Country: an Island on the Land. New York: Duell, Sloan & Pearce, 1946. xii, 387 pages; 22 cm. I don’t know if it has been translated into Ukrainian. It is one of my favorite books about the strange weirdness that is Southern California. It goes up to the 1940s but in many ways it is timeless in its characterization of that part of California. California is named for Queen Calafia, a fictional pagan woman warrior queen.

Tanya the drive you describe from LA to San Francisco with stops along the way is very beautiful if you take SR1 or do it in reverse. You can stop the car along the way and look out onto the Pacific Ocean. I did the drive twice in both directions, and have no regrets. You must not rush as you can not do it all in a day or two. Take your time, and enjoy!

SeaWorld is more relaxing and less expensive, too. It's also quite good. It has a lot more shows and fewer rides. I must say, you look like you were born and raised in LA, driving the convertible mustang with those sunglasses. Honestly, you could spend a year and still find many news things to experience there. There are also some peaceful places to visit. There is a garden I loved to visit there when I was young--an underground garden. I was born in Costa Mesa, California. I grew up mostly in Washington State, though. It's a very different place. It has much fewer people and much cleaner air and vastly more beautiful nature. People are generally friendly in both places. It's not always everyone, though. And some areas of LA are dangerous. It's awesome to see you having a good time. I lived in Florida for a number of years, also. I spent lots of time at Disney World there, which is much larger than Disney Land in California. Today, I live in New York... Actually near Syracuse, NY. Your country is beautiful in many ways too and there are many things to love about Ukrainian people... to be honest, I am (in a way-not romantically, of course) in love them... About the Air conditioning--you really missed it in Kyiv so.... I hope all this extra A/C makes up for all the hot summer in Kyiv you experienced... lol.... I am happy to know you are having a good time.

You might like Oregon, Portland has a similar vibe to LA but it's smaller and more walkable. Also the Oregon coast is really special. I drove with my girlfriend from Newport to Astoria last year and it's very different. Oregon has a lot of old forests that grow right up to the ocean and there are a lot of tiny and pretty towns along the coast highway. And some abandoned forts from WW1.

@@Tanyafiona Oregon is the state north of California. Portland is a 16 hour drive from LA. There's one metropolitan area around Portland, the Willamette Valley is pretty densely populated and the rest of the state is mostly wilderness with a mix of old forests, mountains in the west and grassland and desert in the east.

Yes, their is a way to drive on an 8 lane highway!! Not many countries have more than 4 or six; but the US is definitely one of them. If you're going a long way get into one of the outer lanes but get close to the exit lane about 2 exits before yours (say 3 miles or 5 km before your exit).

Americans call a METRO a SUBWAY (runs underground). To them a METRO is short for Metropolitan bus; where Metropolitan means a cities metropolitan area; which can be larger than just the city itself. Of course, in England they call it the UNDERGOUND or the TUBE; in Paris it's the METRO as it is in Montreal, Canada. However, in Quebec City we also have METRO Buses; but then we have no underground system.

NYC can be the same way, not as many tourist places, but it is big and it can take hours to get across it. Half a century ago I used to drive a yellow taxi in NYC. Knew it well. Just riding the Staten Island Ferry or going to Liberty Island can eat a half day. Throw in one the many Museums and there is no time left that day to go to the top of the Empire State Bldg., but you might find time for picture or two on Wall St. or a walk through China Town or Little Italy, etc.., and maybe an evening at the Philharmonic or Carnegie Hall, etc.

Hi Tanya, I'm glad you are enjoying your time here. Yes, the traffic is awful, especially in California. Lots of crazy drivers too! I'm impressed with how quickly you learned the rules of the road and everything, of course I also think you are a fast learner. Yes, it takes a long time to do anything here in California. I did not know you were going to Universal Studios, I would have warned you that it is their Halloween time and not conducive to switching ones brain, especially from Ukraine right now. Yes, vacations are for relaxing in my mind too. I prefer more non-tourist or at least semi-tourist things, which can be just as nice. I'm like you, I want to relax and not worry, I want a complete brain switch. I'm surprised at first to learn that people are so judgmental in Ukraine, but then I realized that it is the same here as well and likely every other country. People here are very judgmental of each other as locals, but not so much for foreign tourists. I'm so glad everyone is being nice to you! I think it is the same in every country where local people are judgmental of each other, but not to strangers. In fact, I don't think, I know that is how it is in a couple of countries I have gotten to know through friends and family and all. Our quality of food on our grocery stores is not that great were ingredients are concerned. Sometimes I think even the produce is processed somehow even though it isn't. The limited healthier food is very expensive, unaffordable for most people. Those people dressed nice and everything you noticed, those are the very wealthy people usually and not how everyone normally dresses. Most of us do not wear $1000 clothes. The public transit system here is not as good as most other countries. Some places here it is maybe ok, but where I live, it is awful. Most importantly, I am so glad things are relatively quiet back home and I hope they stay that way. I don't want to get off on that too much though, you are here to switch your brain and relax for now. We will talk later for detail. Do keep us updated though please. Safe travels to New York Tanya! When buying things many say Tah instead of thank you. Chinese asked why say tah. I said I not sure. But you teach a baby when giving it a treat. Say Tah......baby . It's shorter than thank you.😊

I am not sure, how I would go. The air cost is fine. But I don't like cues. I walk to my city 3 days a week. I have scooter that has to be locked in a small box, in town. I think I would want helicopter ride to Disney Land. I hope you saw it all I would want to be there early in the morning. I think you might be on a view of how to get it done. Perhaps just a couple of places. With a big day in each. Walking and more walking. Then nice food plenty of vitamins. And spa to relax. Then out into it again. The crab legs. They might be what we call Cray Fish in Australia. Rock Lobster may be in US. You did well for $5.00. A whole one here is worth at least 20 times more. Not mentioning the actual price because You Tube might remove my reply.

That concept of looking down on others and showing off and saying to the world "look at me I'm so great", is one of the reasons for the popularity of Instagram. Those famous Instagram and Dubai Porta Potty models and oligarch girlfriends with mega followers and likes. Unlike you, who uses it for wholesome and educational purposes like promoting your YT and networking.😊😊😊

I wonder if ur viewers really grasp how living in a war zone, where daily rocket/drone attacks, seeing soldiers on the streets with war injuries, power disruptions, and news updates, can take the zest out of life...And this is the uniqueness of ur videos and other vloggers in Ukraine providing real content of how the war effects daily living? This has never been possible in past conflicts on this scale and digital technology has essentially brought a War to the comfort of wherever someone can view content on a smartphone, tablet, or computer... I wonder if after the War is over, will Ukrainians suffer PTSD? I cannot imagine how this can be avoided😘 Slava Ukraine🇺🇦🙏

LA is awesome to visit but horrible to live in. I'm in SF Bay and it's better but still broken up here. Thinking about Nevada because things here so expensive and messed up. I would recommend the drive up Highway 1 along the coast. Probably take about 6-8 hours from LA to SF depending on how often you stop.

@@golokavrndavanaIt would only be scary if 1. You take the wrong turn or don't take the right one and turn onto The Sydney Harbour Bridge into what becomes the roundabout in Chevy Chase's European Vacation between the City and North Sydney never getting off at the right turn. 2. Some with as silly comments as yours is there. That's scary 😢
