They were more concerned about the Reg Plate I hadn`t got...Just a piece of cardboard with my number written on in Biro. Glad to get back to a wonderful breakfast that`s for sure.

@@TREADtheglobe OMG. I got suspicious because I recognized that small white security cabin. My grand grandmother was living next door, in the same garden, I was picking flowers there, when I was little.. But then they built huge new apartments instead of the old building. Behind Ethem efendi kahvaltı (actually Ethem efendi is the name of the street), there's a beautiful white old wooden villa, not sure if you saw it. It was a fashion studio back then, and my aunt was modeling there. So, I guess I must go there and have a visit with my mom :D Thank you!

I hope you don't mind me saying when I saw you having your testing for covid-19 a little bit amusing it brought back memories when I was tested before my operation and testing before leaving the hospital also I find it amusing but when I use whizzy Airlines there were no restrictions no paperwork no nothing entering into Bulgaria my second home but it is also funny I have been in lockdown for almost 2 weeks and keep me I on what's happening with yourselves as I find it all very interesting and I love the way you describe everything and also I noticed you always in the cake shop happy days as my Grandad says be good be careful be safe xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The way you pronounce "dut" is very lovely :) They are sun dried mulberries. Muhlama, Mıhlama or kuymak (different calls ) is made from cheese, corn meal and lots of butter. And don't forget to come to Çanakkale.

Hi Marianne and Chris ..when its safer to travel I will be following your route around Turkey in my camper... on each video I am making points to visit on my map ..however can you give me details of where the ferry departs and arrives as its defo on my list to do ! thanks for the great videos cheers me up so much....Chris x

Hi Chris - that is great to hear ... there is an app called Polarsteps and it is free to download and it tracks where we have been and gives photos and a little information - I hope this helps ... It is also great for tracking your travels and you can share it or keep it private ... and at the end of the trip you get the option to have it printed in a book form !! (which I am totally doing !!) best wishes and let us know when you get here !! Marianne

Welcome to Corona-tion Street, Well folks another slice of the superb gateau that is Tread The Globe served on a dish of excellence. With a bigger cliff hanger than any soap opera do they manage to cross back into Turkey no problems?.Will Trudy start? .Que Dick Barton theme Question was the breakfast just for the cameras? I watched it with mum and she has been to Turkey a lot and thought it was for show? It was a brilliant restaurant what was it called? Did you notice the blast from the past that was a Renault 9 that left the ferry ahead of Trudy? It's a long time since I saw one of those on the road. Is it possible to do a quick trip of Bulgaria or are you worried about border closures? Thanks for the vlog.

No, i live in turkey and if you order for the right breakfast they will give it to you like the one in the video. Obviously they ordered unlimited breakfast so that is what they got :)

Hi Nick - yes it was a worry ... we could have tried a flight out ... but the idea of being separated from Trudy if the borders suddenly closed was too much for me (Marianne) to bare !! There are an amazing amount of fabulous older cars ... and Trudy being 16 is making her feel spritely !! I love that everything is cared for and fixed up ... no waste just effort and care. The breakfast here in Turkey is the best in the world !! I would stand in a court of law and swear it out loud any day of the week !! They are all great ... but there are some that are better ... and this one was awesome .... tip ... don't eat the day before LOL love to your mum and best wishes - Marianne xx

Sorry, but you missed my comment on the previous video. It was about the covid test and the driving license. Not sure how long it takes you to edit and upload. Maybe I was late. No covid test required since 1 st of September for Bulgaria from Turkey. And check my comment for the driving licence too. As family we are enjoying your channel. Hi - sorry if we missed your comment - it normally takes about 8-10 hours per video and 4 hours filming plus driving, eating, etc ... we travelled before the 1st of September but we are back now and in Trabzon. I hope this helps and we are really grateful that you are enjoying the videos 🤗🌺
