I'm flying from Houston, Texas to Istanbul next week, transiting to Latvia, and am very impressed with the low prices due to a very favorable exchange rate. Turkey certainly is a cheap place for US tourists to visit. Every place shown on these videos seems deserted. I guess tourists want to stay home.

@@peterrisbergs7156 actually touristic locations are usually very determined. In normal times, such places are not very crowded too. And there are so many hidden treasure places in Turkey. And I agree with your price opinion. I could go and work in USA ten years ago when I was a student. Now I work in a very fine job in Turkey terms, and I cannot visit USA that I cannot even afford the plane ticket. But for tourists Turkey is like a haven.

Yes you can :) Although we use flour so much, you can enjoy %60 percent (approximately) of the cuisine without fear. Start from the west cost where you can find more vegetable dishes with sea food and southeast for meat :)))

Guys please check it out Karadeniz and POKUT YAYLASI over the internet. it is black sea region and it is looks like a norway so much green and there are a lot waterfall. Rize and Trabzon are nice cities.

You guys need to see Blacksea as you said in the video. I am not sure how it is right now. But the last time I’ve been there it was magnificent. while driving to uk you may want to visit cunda island if its on your way. If you heading to west here are some places worth visiting. 'korsan koyu' a small hidden beach, boat tour in marmaris (definetly was one of the best thing i had in my life), alacati (famous for its incredibly beautiful houses and sea)

Breeze is much more effective in Mugla region. You should definetely visit Fethiye, Günlüklü, Palamutbükü where there is the most crystal clear sea, Dalyan, Knidos etc. Aegean coastal air is much more fresh and low moist compared to Antalya.

In Black Sea, if you go to Giresun, you should see Kök Ev (root house). I strongly recommend.

I think you will have a great time in the Black Sea. There is a much more wild natural life and cool weather. Nice peoples, plateaus, villages, foods, etc. (in Turkey). Batumi is also a beautiful city outside Turkey.

You must see the derinkuyu underground city while you are in Cappadocia. derinkuyu means deep pit in Turkish. it is a huge 8 story underground city. you'd love it. and it is much more cooler inside than being outside

After a day of driving, when we stop we open the engine hood(bonnet) to help vent the heat from the engine. Might help with the temp in the van. Travel On!!

Love it. Isn't there a way you could stand in that river only so far, so that you're both hot and cold at the same time and then equalise your temperature? Anyway, the only reason 'I'm still there', is because you're shaving inside my computer monitor! Can't wait for the next one!

Hiya guys, since you're heading to Black Sea really recommend the Yaylas in Bolu (especially Sarıalan Yaylası). My boyfriend and I spent a few nights there and it was absolutely lush!xx
