Fine work. And you've demonstrated something that I've considered doing for years. That is installing blocks under the head and tailstock to increase the capacity. Two inch blocks will convert a 10 inch midi-lathe to a 14 inch. I think that's the maximum that I would try with a reasonably well-balanced workpiece.

As I've said before, convert those shavings into pellets and you could heat a small house for a year. Amazing work young man. Well done
