Great video - Newgarden made an absolute supreme move there in turn 3. Funny the irony captured in this video. You see the woman in the crowd in the red & yellow outfit screaming and jumping for joy - then pan back to the left to see the dude there with both arms in the air giving the "one finger salute", pissed that his guy didn't win.

Whoever put up the middle finger is not a true racing fan. I was there on the front stretch rooting for O’Ward too but you can’t fault Newgarden’s epic pass to take the lead. Pure racing at its finest. Perfectly okay to be upset at your driver losing but never discredit the amount of effort and work all drivers put in to win this race. Fair play Newgarden! Well deserved win 👏

@@thepsychologist8159 I’m not suggesting it, it’s been proven. He got caught cheating at St. Pete this year and Indycar vacated his win for it. First vacated win in 100 years. He pushed P2P 3 times at St. Pete when it should have been inactive. He knew P2P was enabled when it wasn’t supposed to be, but he used it anyways, and gained positions doing so. That’s cheating. That’s why there were people booing him at the 500.

I feel like Kyle Larson probably could have done a little bit better in this race. But I also feel like every day of this process for him, that every lap of this race for him was a learning experience. I think if this comes together again for him next year the results might be very different. That he might be fighting for a top 5 spot and maybe even a win. I think deep in his heart he really wants to win the Indy 500. I think he wants to win the crown jewels of as many disciplines as possible.

If his car going into T3 was anything like going out of T2 you bet your asz he did lifted a little. Otherwise he does a slid job into Newgarden and Dixon is winning. IOW pato’s car was sketchy loose by this point of race.
