I’ve never had heated seats, never seen the need for them in a temperate climate, and would probably never use them if I did. They seem to be a GBC obsession.

@@alanthomson1227 Ah, well as a fellow back sufferer, I can at least empathise, and imagine how a heated backrest might help. Indeed, there was a point about ten years ago when it was so bad I could hardly walk! I even considered getting a wheelchair!! Then I wired myself up with a TENS machine, and after playing with the settings for a while, was able to walk reasonably normally with a stick. But I needed the settings so high to have any effect, the pads were leaving burn marks either side of my spine in my lumbar region….!! So I can recommend TENS as a solution if you have the problem again, but be careful. Peace 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I had an Alfa that requires a special tool to change the bulb. It's an awful job... I like to take a deck chair and popcorn to Halfords and ask them to change my bulbs.

I had an old Octavia 1.8 vrs. Wonderful car. It drove so well. Made me smile every day. Poverty caused me to sell it back to the dealership. I cried.

When I visited the UK in May, 1997... There were four seasons in the one day in Coventry. London was British, sunny and warm on the holiday weekend. Plymouth was fine and Brecon Beacons were Welsh, overcast and windy. And the hired Rover was blanf but not as bad as feared. 😊

Try changing the front left indicator bulb on a Berlingo! You have to shove your arm down a 3" slit between a box of gubbins and the top of the front, to twist the plastic mount 90', then pull it out. I could JUST get two fingers in, one from each hand! The bulb change itself is dead easy, just the usual bayonet fit. Now try getting the bleeping plastic bit back onto the socket. I 'borrowed' the barbie picker-upper scissory thing to push it back in and twist it, after drawing blood and saying certain words you won't find in most dictionaries!

On a late 80's Rover 214 you just pull a spring and the unit slides right out. Obviously they realised that made things too easy and have changed it to an engine out job.

That's nothing, try changing the water pump on a Peugeot 405. You are meant to remove the engine, I removed engine mounts, got a big dude with a persuasion bar and prayed it did not slip when I had my arms in removing the bloody thing. Stupid bloody car.

I had a C70....when the roof was down, the passenger door came open, while going round bends!! I didn't keep it long 🙄 That was the start of my bad luck with cars...but hopefully, my luck has changed, with Dusty (the PT Cruiser, with the ZZ Top decals)

I brought a saab 93 bank holiday monday last week, never owned a Saab before but it's a really nice drive and very powerful with a 2.0 turbo engine also has lpg fitted to the car so its ulez free. Brilliant car so far

@@wayland7150 tell me about it my mom had the diesel estate version in one of the top trims. I only drove it a few times but it was pretty powerful, decent enough to drive and had a great interior. Only issues it had were the headlight bulb change difficulty and all of the keyless door sensors failed.

Had a Mégane convertible, the diesel version and it was really good, 60 plus miles to the gallon, handled well, suspension wasn't bad. The electrics were shite. It's one of the smallest cars I've had but I would have another as a fun convertible if the electrics were good.
