Whoa! I'm a white male that watches anime... And I loved Kingdom! The barrier for most people in the US from watching K dramas is they don't want to read subtitles. I suggest stuff all the time to people all the time and if it is dubbed they will watch it, if it is subtitled they won't. Also Nigel should use Under the Sea as his alarm tone. I watched the latest video in the hope I wouldn't hear this smart, handsome, funny man be toxic, mean and condescending to his podcast partner. I adore his Uncle Roger persona, that character is sassy but good hearted and gives you advice bcs it feels he's got your best interest at heart. I was surprised by "Uncle Rogers" kindness when he reviewed terrible cooks and STILL said something kind (and genuine). I was expecting Gordon Ramsey meanness but no, he remained super funny but ultimately kind. Nigel...with a heavy heart I have to say this podcast made me understand the definition of hate watch. I can not stand his podcast self. It's sad if this is the real him. He's not bombastic, or funny. He's full on mean. Zero kindness... To your friend. You find something nice to say about people making terrible mistakes while cooking and up to now I have not heard Nigel say something genuiely nice to Evelyn. Instead he Always redirects the conversation back to HIM, talks AT her about HIM.. With such a condescending demeanor !! It's infuriating, this isn't funny. I can see some of his stand up lines bleed into this show, and don't get me wrong the bits are BEYOND funny, but you can tell he's waiting for the chance to say them.. It feels unnatural. I can also see his Uncle Roger persona come out... But again it feels weird bcs this is not the setting for that... I think he's trying to find his podcats voice / persona, I hope he does. This is a very smart man,maybe it's just me, I read so many comments how so many people find this funny... The only thing I've gotten out of this podcast is learning from Evelyn how to deal with really toxic behaviour with kindness, humor and zero fucks. Nigel reminds me of the male host on True Crime Obsessed, but in a bad way. Patrick is royally INTENSE but he can carry a conversation without making it about him, and it never feels mean to his host. This episode is not as bad, possibly bcs Evelyn looks she's done tolerating his mean shit and putting boundaries. Nigel - I'm rooting for you. Ive read its hard to turn off the mean comedian... I hope you learn how to be a host. Even shock jocks need to be able to carry a conversation, it's not just about yelling and making shocking comments. Sigh. I won't stop listening but man, you are better than this. You're getting there. This episode sounds less antagonistic than the previous ones. Keep it up

Black person here (Dutch). I watched Kingdom and loved it. Also did Squid Games. Nigel is right. If I had to read subtitles I wouldn't have watched, but Dutch Netflix had voice over. Not sure if I watched it in Spanish or English. But there are a lot of Korean stuff on Netflix with Spanish voice over that I have watched. I like that the stories are more unpredictable because of the cultural differences.

I had a pumpkin weird off...and my pumpkin is a an normal orange pumpkin...that I used green finger paint on so it looks like it has leprosy, I cut a small green pumpkin in half and super glued giant googly eyes to and onto the main pumpkin...had to use toothpicks and super glue. Normal evil sharp tooth smile. And this is the fun part...I ripped these dolls apart and it has four tiny female doll legs and and naked female doll with the head ripped off and a purple wig glued onto it's head stump. And a dirty smiley sunflower plush doll rapped around it. I won. 4100 likes on my facebook. Ain't no Grandpa George....or Uncle Roger either...but people gave a shit.
