After my husband died I maintained a relationship the best I could She finally needed me. At 98 when she was dying I spent 6 weeks or more at veterans hospital with her during covid lockdown She didn’t have the virus but there were many rules She died in my arms comfortable and having a beautiful passing God Bless her🌺

My mother in law hated me and wished death to the pregnancy of our son. My son's grandmother only saw my son twice @ Age 1 and 6...then never again, it was her choice. I don't know if my mother- in-law is dead or alive. I was married in 1979 and divorced my husband in 1999, it was destroying my health. Their family was just evil as she didn't like American people. They were Jamaican. I gave the marriage a long chance. The marriage was mentally abusive to me and our son and I had to save myself and our son as his father became more abusive like his mother. He took her side totally and didnt stand up for us. When our son turned 19, he found out his father stole his identity and the Magistrate awarded our son the right to change his name since he and his father shared the same exact name but our son was a junior.

My MIL, SILs and BIL have ganged up on me and bullied me for 30 years while my husband has stood by and watched. I've wasted so much time dealing with this abuse. I'm finally DONE. They can have him. I honestly wish I had walked away from this bs decades ago. As a MIL myself, I can't even imagine mistreating my son's wife. I'd never be able to live with myself if I ever put strain on his marriage. I just don't get it.

I’m so glad that my sons in law don’t hate me. I hit the Son In Law lottery where my three daughters are concerned. They are all happily married to amazing men who love and respect them.
