Yes, and no. Teeth are still a remarkably effective weapon, but they're risky to use for multiple reasons. It's not unhinged, it's instinct. Humans are animals, and predators no less. We have teeth, we use them. Just like every other animal. You push any animal to the point it thinks it needs to defend itself, and you're getting clawed, bit, or both. Ants will bite, squirrels and rabbits will bite, dogs, horses, hippos, lions, fish, literally everything on this planet can and will bite you. Is it morally sound for an adult to bite in this situation? No. But if she was being SA'd by some random jerk in an alley, I bet you would say biting was a good attempt, not unhinged. Hence the "yes and no" I started with. It's no different from any other weapon, be that the mind, hands, or an object of some sort. Sometimes it's reasonable to use them, or a particular one, sometimes it's not.

Something I learned pretty quickly when I got into hand-to-hand combat training myself, is that disabling someone smaller and weaker than you is not necessarily hard.... but taking someone down without hurting them? Even if they are much weaker? That is exponentially harder.

I've been watching Donut for about 5 years now, and honestly don't know how law enforcement does it. Seriously. I legitimately dumbfounded. You put your lives on the line daily, deal with people like Karen in the video, assist those in need and in the end your hated for it. Granted there are some bad eggs but my hat is off to every law enforcement officer. I appreciate everything you guys do for us and stand behind you 110%.

This is a _cluster-B personality disorder,_ specifically a _malignant narcissist._ These things are chameleons with a snake tounge. Shifting principles on a sliding scale (kids' safety is only important when she needs it to be), which means that they're not principles. Mirroring tactics that usually make no sense ("no _you're_ resisting!"), tangential counterpoints (anything to be contrarian), using her children (or anyone really) as tools to guilt or threaten other people with, then when they're still not getting their narc supply, much like an addict, they'll turn increasingly hostile and malignant.
