Reality at 6:53. The anxiety is REAL and it gets worse if there is no one to talk to about the challenges. Thank you for talking about this issue about mental health. Your honesty here is sooo necessary, Tayo, and will help your audience understand what goes in to create the value you create. By the way, we're 100% in agreement with you about taking time out. We're currently on week 4 of taking a break from constantly needing to create and we did it for the reasons you've highlighted here.

I Love how he opened up about anxiety towards the algorithm, Anxiety will always be a part of each upload! But in the end it's he's Originality that brings me back watching, not a fancy new gimmick or idea, it's he's style and how he voices out topics not much people talk about in Africa.

Most people outside Nigeria only know about Lagos Island. They don't even know the capital of Lagos is on the Lagos Mainland, that has more land space and people and many industrial hubs. Badagry is one of the four far flung Lagos sub cities. It is located very close to Benin Republic border. But Lagos is the smallest city-state in Nigeria. But the richest.

I was born and raised along that axes of Lagos so I'm super excited that Badagry is featured in this video 💃. The govt has abandoned that area of Lagos which sucks, but at the same time it's a blessing because it means that area has stayed unspoiled and economically 'sane', unlike all dem Lekki/Ajah side 🙂.

Wow, you have brought memories of my childhood day trips to Badagary. I am glad you addressed mental health, this applies to us Pod-casters too. I was so busy with my full time job and dealing with personal issues. It all came to a halt when I was too tired edit the episodes I had recorded. I ended up taking up to 5 weeks off before I finally got back to editing, and I felt better for it. Like you I have decided I won't pushing out episodes just for the sake of it. I will record and edit episodes when I am ready and not to build an audience!! At the end of the day I have to think of my well being, besides I have a job that pays well, so I am not going 'to kill myself' if my podcast doesn't takes off or make money - although it will be nice, if it happens, it happens ........
