Controversial (but maybe not) opinion: i think many people, including me, enjoy the speedrun not beacause it is a speedrund but because we emjoy Eric playing rapid chess. That's why he should upload more rapid streams on the extra channel and more frequently. Also, the extra channel which is our go-to meditation and sleep-inducing channel hasn't been uploading as it used to do. Thank you Eric we love you so much.
@lomiificationАй бұрын
The games are also pretty chill, so he can chat about ideas while playing them
@McCainenlАй бұрын
Agreed honestly. Rapid + variety of openings and situations is what's good for the people :)
@joeyparker2528Ай бұрын
Agreed, this is what drew me to Eric’s channel in the first place. Chill, instructive rapid gsmes

That ending tactic for final game was incredible. Kudos Eric! 49:16

Watched every episode.. brilliant absorbing content. But it's not just incredibly entertaining, it's so educational and so many things I've learned from solid chess principles in the opening, middlegame and closing to looking for 'tactics'.. Cannot love this series enough!!

The most amazing thing, out of many amazing things, is the way Eric plays so strongly from the end of the opening through the middle game. Taking positions that seem so solid for his opponent where there’s nothing I can see to do. Then in five moves later, he’s up material and the opponent is ready to resign

Great episode! Interesting that in both London games Black plays Qb6...Qxb2 and lands in a world of hurt. A playable line (as Eric mentions) but you have to be so precise. Super series!

This is the first time in years that I had the choice of your video, or agadmator's, to see first -- and I chose yours, because now it's getting really interesting. Sorry, Antonio. But now I've saved your video for dessert. So... an excellent entree followed by a cleansing sorbet.

Hi Eric, would you be able to do some games with the Kings Gambit at this level? I'm around 1750 Fide rating and had tremendous success and fun with it so far, so i'd really appreciate some new insights that i may have yet to consider. I know most KGA lines are relatively forced, but especially the in the weirder declined variations (like pawn e6/Nc6/both) i really have no clue what to do other than go for the huge center with c3/d4 and throw pieces at the enemy king.
