Just want to say I love when you put the notes up at the end of the game. Whether it's the bulletpoints like in other videos or the long notes in this video, it really helps solidify concepts and I find it makes it easier to remember the ideas. Every chess youtuber should do this

Your explanation for every major idea helps so much in trying to learn the openings you play. And the fact that you will repeat the ideas in multiple videos helps immensely, since repetition is the main way I learn. ~~ Capybara break ~~

When I first started playing chess, I didn't care about the eight sardines it started me with. I would just let them be eaten. But thanks to videos such as this, I was finally convinced that sardines, while tiny, are chock full of vitamins.

I was about to shout in the comment : when the opponent play C5, which is the most common I meet to counter the jobave. Hopefully I wait until the end of the video ! more game when opponent play C5 please. Also I would like to screenshot all the note of your video, and link them to your youtube video. It would be helpful. But difficult to find in which video you show your noteL Maybe you could put the file for download in your video description ? Would be so cool.

I love the very ending.. Alex says this is too easy so I'm going to force a pawn fork upon myself. The opponent perceives it as Napoleon level intimidation and immediately resigns.

I like the knight sacrifice! Sweet. I’ll try to remember that. I’ve climbed to 1000 playing the CK and JL almost exclusively except when I can’t. Bought the CK course. 👏🏻 Anyone recommend another opening I should add? Fwiw I seem to have problems with the modern defense sometimes and seem to run into the Englund gambit at this elo

What program do y’all use for the calculations with the arrows etc. That’s probably what I need to learn the most now. I never thought I’d see 700 much less 1000. I’m keeping my account for now

it's called 'settings' there is no program and I don't use them to calculate, I use them to show it for viewers :P

Curious how you would approach game 3 if the opponent transposed into the dutch with 2 f5? Engine suggests immediate e4 with an advantage. Recently I was preparing for an opponent who played this way and instead of playing 2. Nc3, I opted for immediate 2. Bf4 and a London setup. Didn't work out great though.

Why in the 3rd game did you say to not break it open and let their light bishop out, then later push f5 and say to break it open? It didn't seem like too much changed (other than Nxd5 possibility).
