Years ago I had a Chevelle and the front wheel came off while I was driving. What happened was the lug nuts were bottomed out before they were actually tight. This allowed enough movement to loosen them up when moving.

Your Mustang is cool. Back in high school I had a '66 coupe. Now I was needing a small truck,so I bought a '65 Ranchero. It has a warmed up 302,AOD with a shift kit,and 3.80 with limited slip in the rear. It's a blast and suits my truck needs.

About how many cars? 30 would be a usual cruise night out here, and that's not a bad thing. What I love is the "beater" cars weren't just a hand-me-down FWD four door with a CAI and soupcan exhaust the owner got with their employee discount at the auto parts franchise...rattling the rear license plate on the tailgate from bass. As we like to joke, "how do you properly lower a Honda? Bolt on three more space saver spares" :) The cars you showed were actually "gone thru" and made for go, not show. This is how hot rods used to be. For example, Gene Winfield's famous "fadaway" paint jobs were for those who couldn't afford to re-paint an entire car after bodywork.

Four Speed Films they have it every Sunday morning at pierce college. Pretty big cars and coffee kinda thing. The really big shows are the first Sundays of the month and they’re themed. It’s mostly euro stuff but a lot of muscle cars show up on those theme days. I’ve met jay Leno a few times there too
