Yes at last somone else who likes Timothy Dalton. I'm sick of people saying Sean Connery is the best When you watch it as an action film the late 80s and 90s bond movies are by far the best love Brosnan as well. Don't like Daniel Craig either the new story lines are over complicated for a bond movie. Also loved Roger Moore and Jaws the best bond villain.
I remembered watching this movie in the cinema as a kid.. and this scene.. Bond was my hero. Loved Dalton as Bond. Whenever i see Dalton in any movies ill always remember him as Bond fondly..( Pierce is my fav Bond by the way )

Troy Andrew it sounds like it was both. His third movie was stuck in development hell for two years. His contract (7 years) expired in 1993. Broccoli still wanted to sign him, but at that point he decided to step down.

Timothy Dalton was their second choice to play Bond. Their first choice (Pierce Brosnan) was unavailable due to contract obligations to the TV show "Remington Steele". But the show was cancelled around the time of "License to Kill" so Brosnan was available for the next Bond film "Goldeneye". If it's any consolation, at least Dalton has one More Bond film to his credit than George Lazenby!
@hbdragon884 жыл бұрын
@Mark Schroeder apparently EON offered the role to Dalton in the early 1970s - but he turned it down as being too young to play Bond. He would have been in his 20's. (FWIW - Dalton was 41, Moore 46, Brosnan 42, Craig 38, Lazenby 30, and Connery 32 for their first Bond films).

1:07 So the fucking truck was made of aluminum or why the fuck did it just disintegrated? It should had hit the rock and either crush the cabin, break the rock formation or both.
@TheGunhunter38 жыл бұрын
+Charles Ferdinand That scene wasn't actually planned, the truck hit the rock by accident and they kept the scene, so I guess that shit just happens?
@charlesferdinand4228 жыл бұрын
TheGunhunter3 But still, the truck simply broke in pieces, it hits the rock and falls apart like it's a hollow empty box of aluminum.
@Maverick_Van_Traveller8 жыл бұрын
+Charles Ferdinand the hood and fenders are fiberglass on those trucks. They tilt forward for access to the engine. You are seeing the hood assembly come off when the truck hits the rocks.

Look at that though, the front axis actually came off,that's fucking disturbing that these giant trucks could be so fragile and feeble, I was just wondering whether that was accurate in real life.
