Crazy Waves and Daredevils at Canal Park

10-15ft waves and strong winds in Duluth! Plus a wave rider putting on a heck of a show! He only fell off once that I saw. Fortunately he was just fine and hopped right back on. Little close to the wall though.
In the background is the Algoma Niagara preparing to sail into the canal. She would enter roughly a half hour later in the same conditions, putting on an impressive show. That’s covered in another video, linked at the end of the video. Enjoy!

Never judge till you walk a mile in someone else' shoes. It's not easy taking those monster sized ships on a.narrow course through the canal, not to.mention the pivot and docking of a freighter between 700 and 1,000 feet long, carrying thousands of tons. Bless the captain and his skills in navigating these giants!0

That is a workout and a half with that swell. Very much harder then it looks!
