Spark Plug Replacement Honda Odyssey 2005 - 2010

Thank you very much for the excellent video. The narration was very thorough, understandable and easy to follow every step throughout the whole video. Even the tools needed to complete the job was covered. Two days ago I replaced my old spark plugs with six new spark plugs for my 2009 Honda Odyssey EX model which had 116,014 miles on it. I purchased NGK Laser Iridium Premium IZFR5K11 3657 from my local O'Reilly's Auto Parts. After installing the new spark plugs I noticed an increase in the power of my engine. Next up, I'll need to save up money to buy the OEM Hitachi ignition coils. You and your video gave me the courage and confidence to SUCCESSFULLY complete a job I was very hesitant to do. Thank you very much!!!

Thank you, I did this for the first time and it solved P0303 issue on my 2010 Touring which I bought 10 months ago and all the spark plugs were replaced by previous owner 4 months before my purchase. Next thing I am going to go for is the VCM muzzler.

How often do you need to change the ignition coils in this model?

If it goes bad then change it. I now have 142K+ miles on this 2010 odyssey and have not replaced yet.

At 220K miles I would recommend to change the coil pack for spark plugs especially if you are planning to keep the vehicle.

Thank you! The anti thread lock / anti-seize is applied to the thread area of the spark plug. Please see video count 9:15 - 9:30 on more details. Just be careful the anti thread lock does not cover other parts of the spark plug.

@@FlyBeee None. I have heard of mechanics putting stuff on the Ford Triton 3V plugs. I have never had to deal with THAT mess so I'm not sure with that one.

Someone didn't use the lube on my coil boots, so they are froze to the plug. Now that's a job. Why did they use nuts on the coil. Buttheads! There's no way to break the boot loose.
