The propane tank will fit perfectly in a milk crate that's how I store in my truck it works perfect you never have to take it out of the milk crate leave it in the mail crate and you pick up the crate and you carry it around with the tank in it easy in easy out stores real nice

A 5 pound propane tank is definitely a good investment. The same company that makes that fire pit also makes a 5 pound propane tank kit that can go with it or anything else you need it for. I can’t say the brand name of that because youtube will delete my comment if I do. They don’t like you mentioning brand names for some reason. That company that makes that propane tank calls it a gas growler. It comes in a nice case with the adapter hose all in one set up. I bought it last year and I’ve been pretty impressed with it so far.

Love the new engine in the truck. Sounds mean! I like the little fire pit. You can heat up some water with the jet boil and pour it over the side of your propane tank and check the level of propane you have left. The hot water will create a sweat line. Also the lava rocks seem like a good idea too. You could make a little grill rack to set on top of the fire pit for grilling hotdogs and burgers. Great little adventure. Thank! 😳🇺🇸

Have you considered adding a tablespoon of raw, organic apple cider vinegar (with the mother) and fresh lemon or lime, I add no sugar but it is 32 oz of water so it's not too overwhelming and to me it tastes better than just plain water and it is nutritious.

Great to see the Old Rig again. We have the same fire can and you can get lava rocks that go inside that radiates the heat better and you can drill out the propane intake valve and have a higher flame (learned that trick from KZbin) and we use a 5lb tank for ours. Much easier than a 20 lb. We love ours. Love watching your videos ♥️

I have a plastic milk crate with a ratchet strap woven through it and hooked to the tie down in the same corner of my truck as where you put your tank. It holds a 20lb propane tank perfectly. I bungee the tank into the crate too just as an extra precaution.

Ha, I sent that to you, I remember you opened it on New Years Eve, glad you got some use out of it. I made a custom one out of a harbor freight ammo can, I used that diamond metal sheet you can get from home depot, cut it to size and bent it so it had legs that went down and formed a platform a few inches above the burner. I tried both lava rocks and fake ceramic logs, I settled on the logs to go over the screen. You can buy 5 lb propane tanks at ace hardware, I have 3 of them and they are great for running firepits and cooking stoves. Take them to tractor supply to get them refilled. Cheers buddy - EricS.
