My friend, I think that the UK socket is the best and it is the safest. The reason is because you will not be able to simply stick something in to the socket without the third stick at the top. You will notice that the sockets are all closed until the stick at the top is inserted, that is why I say it is the safest to prevent children from sticking their fingers in the power source.

I've been to several countries be it in Europe, East Asia etc. One of the important thing is power socket adapter of the country I plan to visit. Each country has its own standard. So I find out in the internet. Best if you have one Universal power adapter.

So it was a pain in the neck finding one back in those days. I remembered the incident going through some old photos and I bought one of these things a few weeks through Amazon (made by LENCENT, but there are many more available from other brands) for 15€ in a very good and safe quality. Works even in Switzerland because I found they have different sockets ... 😅

In my part of St. Louis (USA) there used to be mosquito fogging trucks that went up and down all the streets spitting out clouds of insecticides. This happened twice a month on a schedule. People were told to bring dogs and cats inside so they wouldn't get an overdose of poison. They stopped doing this about ten years ago----and I don't notice any difference in the number of mosquitoes.

It's easy Sergey.. just place the tip of a small metal knife, holding it with your bare fingers, into the top part of the socket which causes the bottom two covers to open and enable you to put in your plug 😊☠️

The plug sometimes not same bcoz of current supply here malaysia 220watt-240watt. some electronic unit from outside like europe just using max 150watt-210watt.. so not suitable using here.. the plug 3pin if u have only 2pin.. using pen and hold the upper hole at middle socket.. (u can use anything to put inside hole but dont use electric conductor like key) much easier to u plug in but remember remove the pen and do it before on switch.. 😊

That was a common wolf spider and completely harmless. I'd be more concerned that the room attracted him cause he would only be there looking for food. Also, he was a young one which means the nest probably isn't far away.

I’d have caught Mr spider and put him outdoors or I wouldn’t be able to sleep …….or whack him with my shoe 😂. It used to be an old myth that if you killed a spider it would rain but that was just a superstition. They are good for catching other bugs though, if they would only stay out of the bed🫣. The only jumping spider we have here Is striped grey and white and when they lay eggs there are hundreds of tiny yellow babies . If you touch the nest they all eject on webs and set up their own nests away from the mother. Uck! Uck! Uck! I don’t like spiders in the house. My cats eat them which makes me happy. Us Brits invented the best plug and socket ever. Very safe with built in safety features, with different fuse powers depending on the electrical equipment. These will blow if the electrical item is faulty. Instead of the whole power in the building.
