In Serbia is better but far from free.Govermant did not shut indpendent media but they used other tactic. They have own oligarchs(who made money on corruption mainly) so that oligarchs would buy independent media for like 10 times off its real worth and after that they would became pro govermant over night .So by time there is less and less media where you can here critics off government,they just bought most off them .There are still few opposition TV on cable TV (SBB which most people have) but there is also state cable TV (Telekom Srbija) and on that there is no opposition TVs and on the over the air channels no opposition TVs .So they want hard to people to take state cable TV so they do it with like sport so they buy rights left and right for ridiculous money (like they payed 600 MILION euros for UK premier league rights) just so other cable TV that have opposition TV cant have it
