My first mind blown moment was the day someone told me, that some book authors are actually still alive, not all of them are dead. I was five and proceeded to spend years asking my family 'is the author alive?' when a book came up and that was the genders of books for me- alive or dead books.

But because everything is falling at the same time, we don't even notice it. During this conversation, we already fell for thousands and thousands of kilometers". When I was little I had a classmate who was autistic. During one of the breaks he was walking around the schoolyard doing all sorts of complicated stuff with imaginary sci-fi machines, and I was kinda intrigued, so I walked up to him all like "hey can I play along?" And he was all like "no." And I was all like "understandable, have a nice day." Turns out all the neurotypical kids in my class took offense to the answer he gave and I was all like "what how else are you supposed to tell someone you'd rather play alone?" Exactly! I know that "What is it expanding INTO?" is technically an incorrect question, but, still.._what is it expanding into_ ?! I just can't imagine that without picturing an outside view where someone's _watching_ it expand, which implies that an outside EXISTS, and... I think the other main thing that truly blows my mind about the universe, is time. Like, how even though it's 14 billion years old (rounding up) the universe is still basically a BABY, and that we've got a gazillion stars that will last _much_ longer than that. Oh, that wasn't enough for you? How about the black hole era? Oh, wait, those exponents on the year numbers are getting too high. Lemme add ANOTHER exponent on them and start making a dang number staircase... Someone whose comment I can't find again now, on the "Age of the Universe--Time in Perspective" video called the feeling that video gave them, "Number Staircase Entropy Crisis" and I can't agree more. Also that would make an epic band name.
