That one with the woman bringing her kids to that KZbinr's house is so unintentionally eerie. He had no idea how they tracked him down, because he never gave out his address anywhere. These were mostly teenage fans, I think. So yeah, that was pretty shocking to learn was a thing, and when Click started talking about the incident in this video, I was actually surprised he wasn't familiar with it happening a lot more. Glad, though. Hopefully it isn't as common as it seemed when I first heard of it, or maybe somehow KZbin helps creators better protect their privacy nowadays (this was ~2015/16). Most of the "People staring in gym" videos I've seen are like; 1. They could be staring with good reason, because they're making sure their fellow gym goers aren't dropping heavy weights on their legs and breaking bones. 2. Like me, they could be checking what you're doing to make sure you're not a threat to ME. 3. They're looking at your camera because they're uncomfortable with the idea they Could be in the shot and don't know (many people don't like being filmed). 4. They could be looking at you with distain because you're filming in A Gym, and a lot of people Do Not Like That. 5. They respect your muscles/commitment to working out, Like You Should with your fellow gym goers, like c'mon, Encourage eachother. 6. They're trying to learn from you but feel too awkward approaching you directly. 7. They're staring off into space not knowing what they're looking at. I could go on. But instead people assume the worst, which is that someone thinks they're attractive, and is staring because they are imagining some lewd scenario or something. Most people in those videos don't even stare, they just glance, which, is very respectful. You look at other people don't you? I understand, you're in your gym clothes, maybe you feel exposed and vulnerable because of it, I know I do, but that's not a reason to blame other people.

I really hate that these women are accusing men of being creeps for normal behavior when there really IS a bigger issue of harassment. Personally I’ve never been harassed in the gym and if someone has stared at me, having sexual fantasies, I didn’t notice because I was focused on my workout. Not posing for a camera. That one girl melodramatically calling that innocent dude “feral” really got me heated. Feral behavior would result in your bodily harm, ma’am. A mere glance in your direction isn’t assault.

I had one experience where I was the "main character." It was during Senior Skip Day in high school. There was a rule at my school where if you didn't come to classes, you couldn't participate in any of the extracurriculars after school. The skip day happened to fall during tech week for a show I was part of, and because I was helping with directing, I couldn't risk not being allowed to attend rehearsal. Every other senior in the school didn't show up (the one other person who did left after first period), so it was just me. I was the only person in most of my classes, and I ended up wandering the halls and hanging out with teachers I liked during their prep periods (if they wanted me to of course). I spent half the day with the drama teacher, who was very grateful that I had come, and she let me run the drama warm-ups and some games for all her freshmen while she did work on the show. It was hilarious, a great vibe.

The closest thing I had to a main character moment was in 11th grade. I managed to score 100% for every single maths assignment and test. The principal refused to believe that I was that good at maths, so he made everyone retake some of the tests. I scored more than 100% (bonus marks)😂 He insisted on a remark of everything, which took a while. I got one or two extra marks. So then he forced me to write an even harder test, IN HIS OFFICE. Beforehand he'd given me a lecture on how cheating isn't good and blah blah blah. He loomed over my shoulder the entire time I was writing. When I finished, he smiled and said something along the lines of "Now let's see how smart you really are." ...100% again. Needless to say he finally left me alone after that, but it was honestly hard not to feel a bit smug and main character-ish after the lengths he went to to deny me my grade 🤣

All of my tests were perfect, flawless, not a single thing wrong. Except for one, when instead of a 10, I got a 9. I wasn't the only one, another girl in my class also had the same thing happen to her. (She was very annoying but she was good at English too). Teacher said that if she'd graded us what she should have, we would have made the rest of the class, and her, look bad. To this day, one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. This reminded me of when I used to work in a South American restaurant. This restaurant was decorated with many trees and plants to represent the amazon forest, and there were paintings on the walls representing various goddesses I guess. Overall it was a very nice restaurant and pleasantly aesthetic. Many people would come in and just give a look and take a few quick pictures, which was totally fine. As the only waitress that day, I had to be very quick at cleaning the tables since we were almost closing. A few girls came in and decided to make something like a photoshooting with the paintings on the back. Problem was I had to clean the tables that were right below those paintings. So I just decided to get in the way, minding my own business since I was doing my job, and at some point these girls got so pissed off because WHO DARES TO STAY IN THE BACKGROUND DURING OUR 10 MINUTES PHOTOSHOOTING, and in the end decided to go away. 40:16 ugh when I was 16 I worked as a busboy in an Italian restaurant. Most weekday shifts I got off around 10 or 11 pm but Friday they made me closer, so I had to clean all the rooms. Closing was at midnight on friday, sat and sunday, 10 pm on weekdays. But they would let customers stay until as late as 2 am before actually telling them they have to leave. I wasn't allowed to clean any room with customers eating or any room they could see me from their table. Sometimes a couple thought it eas so romantic to have the entire restaurant to themselves, they would just sit there and chat, hours after the kitchen was closed up and the chefs went home, I was standing there waiting for some couple to finish flirting in the dark. Then when they'd finally leave, my manager who also has main character syndrome, made me sweep in the dark (only lamps and Christmas lights were used to light the rooms, probably to hide the cockroaches all over the place), and he would come in and shine a bright flashlight under the tables and tell me I missed a spot and gleefully watch me sweep the whole room again. Sometimes I didn't get home until 4am, sometimes I even had to close on weekdays, at 16, getting home at 2-4 am on a Tuesday, having to go to high school at 7 am. People really think other people are just a tool to accentuate their experience. Serve me, wait for me to finish my romantic night, sweep every room twice for my entertainment because I'm a bitter old man. And another thing he did, was get angry at me for buying a cannoli for full price after clocking out one day, because another manager said it was fine, she even assembled the cannoli for me personally. This jerk confronted me on my next shift about "staff isn't allowed to eat our food, not even off the clock" like I'm his palace butler and not an American citizen he employs and doesn't own. Hopefully he's dead now though, that was half my lifetime ago 😂

Some ppl think they can get way with anything, just because they are angry. Plus, if she would have endangered MY dog, I would have told her I´ll call the police if she doesn´t buzz off. I has similar arguments with bikers before. Two wheels or four, motor or not, you are on a VEHICLE and pedastrians, including and especially, with kids or dogs on hand have priority. Terrible behaviour. Also, with a dog on a leash or a kiddie on your hand, you are handicapped in defendign against someone like that crazy retard. She LITTERALLY tried to block him off phsyically with her bike, my goodness, so in germany, that would be Belästigung AND Nötigung, fascilitating self defense or calling the police. Just to be clear, it isn't BS to say that your brain isn't fully developed until about age 25, it's a well studied scientific fact. It shouldn't be used to justify treating people in their early 20s like children, obviously, but it is true that the last part of the brain to develop is the impulse control/decision making centers, the really highest level of brain development, hence why the early 20s are generally a time of more impulsive and reckless behavior. Which is why insurance rates go down in your mid-20s and why you can't legally rent a car until you are 25. It isn't a fact that should be used to infantilize legal adults, but it should be taken into consideration when looking at behavior and choices in the early 20s vs late 20s and beyond. Not to excuse all behavior, because even in the early 20s your brain is still mostly developed, but it's a factor. Shades of grey, and all of that. 21 is legally an adult, so she absolutely cannot claim to be underage. But also, your brain is only like, 95% developed at age 21, which does explain a teeny, tiny bit of the "main character syndrome".

The dojo leader should have asked if he was willing to pay the rent on the space when the guy challenged him for the dojo. Could have got like 2-3k from him

I remember when a new dojo in my neighborhood tried that "challenge for your dojo" crap. The leader went to talk to the leader of an established dojo to present the challenge, but came shuffling out very fast. The challenged dojo leader had pulled out a .357 Magnum and told the challenger to get the hell out of his school or he'd blow the guy away.

I read this comment before getting to that part and i thought “challenge” meant they wanted to set up a friendly rivalry where their students would compete or something like that. The actual video is 🤯

If I were going to film a "challenge for your dojo" thing, I would inform the owner first offer to pay for their time, and fall down crying in pain with the first strike even before it hit.
