I wish I had your scraps! I am making 2 row grannies using sock yarn scraps, but I do not have enough scraps lol SO now I am using minis, which works pretty well. Love the blanket and am still working on my first socks using your 9 inch circs pattern/video. Merry Christmas!!

30 minutes of knitting per day I think will really help me meet some of my knitting goals for 2025. I’ve got some knitting plans that I’m thinking of doing a video talking about them. Today is our first day of Winter break and I’m planning to enjoy every minute of it. Found out we are going to have an extra little friend here with us Christmas Eve, so I want to plan some fun things for him. It’s been a long time since there as been a three year old in the house. A good rule of thumb for how long a scarf should be is to make it the height of the person it is for. It usually allows for a wrap without the tails becoming too short.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Kayla! I have enjoyed your podcasts over these months. Love your socks! I also enjoy knitting socks but after trying different needle styles, I like DPNs the best. I tried doing two at a time but that was a bust. Just wanted to mention that I also do knitting in the car in the dark, only I have a light that goes around my neck with two very bright little lights on the ends. It works great!

I’m currently working on your Slip Away Cowl pattern in a lovely alpaca/bamboo blend. I have very short hair and my neck sometimes gets cold during the winter (in the summer with the ac too!).
