Hey Callum, another great unboxing video, it is interesting that they tried using a strain gauge to do bed levelling, seen some reviews and user comments that have had reliability issues. Creality are definitely improving printer designs. There seems to be a Creality for everyone. Can’t wait for my prusa Xl to turn up.

Thanks Steve! Yes, they really do have an extensive range don't they, almost too much choice. I'm very impressed with this so far, but don't worry, I'm already picking up on things that could be better ready for the review. Same, very much looking forward to the Prusa XL, first units expected Q3 of this year.

Please compare the cr6 se vz ender 3 s1 👍🏼. I have a s1 but im also looking at the cr6 max for large prints so to compare the 2 would be great

Good show, i would love to see a comparison with the S1, also can you recommend an upgrade for the S1 steel bed as mine is having adhesion problems over time, it seems to slowly wear out, i don't know if you have noticed the same problem. I was just going to replace it but as there are so many to choose from i thought i would ask you about an upgrade thx.👏👍😎🇬🇧

Thanks, consider it on the to do list! The S1 bed isn't great is it... agree, does seem to lose adhesion after a while. I've taken to using 3DLAC on it, however, it's got so many chunks missing now I suspect I'll switch it for a glass bed soon. Creality have a ceramic coated glass bed for the ender 3 anyway, don't know why they switched it for this consumable! Just had a quick look, you can get them for £15.89 on eBay. Failing that, throw some business to your local glass shop and order some 235x235mm toughened glass:)

1) the release mechanische on the extruder , many beginners struggle with it 2) not really actu bvally the drawer looks awesome with the foam inlay 3) and yesh really do but what actually is the difference? the direct drive VS the bowddn setup?
@CallumColes2 жыл бұрын
1) Yeah I heard using the release mechanism was initially a pain for some and made adding filament in more difficult. I think that is why they have since added in the thread guide, which seems to have done the trick since I've found this super easy to use. 2) I LOVED the drawer, I believe someone had actually designed one for the original ender, so imagine Creality saw this and decided to add it properly to one of the machines. Always great to know companies are learning from the community. 3) There are quite a few differences actually, I'll definitely do a video on it:) Thanks for the comment

Good job again! A1: ABL. for sure and overall simplicity it should bring to tramming the bed for users A2: ABL I wonder if it is going to be dependable in the long term. Plus, what if you need to make changes to the head area? Waiting game. A3: yes. It would be good to see if the print output is the same and if user experience is harder/simpler on either one. Claude

Thank you! 1&2. Yeah I agree to be honest, it's both a positive and a potential negative! Done right it's obviously brilliant, but as many printers of the past have shown, ABL is not an easy thing to get working consistently. 3. Yes I think they'll make a good comparison, as soon as I've done the CR-6 SE review, the comparison video will follow. I think comparison videos in general could go down quite well actually, will give more context.

is rhino 3d modelling software compatible with this printer?
@CallumColes Жыл бұрын
Yes Rhino 3D can be used to create models for pretty much all 3D printers. However, you need to be sure the mesh you are creating is watertight which some designers struggle with in this software. If you google 'How to make model watertight in Rhino' you should get some more specific advice.

@@CallumColes yeah i thought it might be, haven’t used a 3d printer in years - i think i’m good with making models watertight though. thanks callum
