This is the most useful review i ever found in youtube when it comes to creality products and yes i decided to buy it , but yet i need a little help , when i went to the main website of the brand i found couple new models like cr-20 cr-x etc . What should i do now !!!! I am not intending to change it for couple years and i dont want to regret buying the bigger or the newer version please advise :(
@NexiTech5 жыл бұрын
@@Ni8kid Thanks for positive feedback. I'm glad that you liked my videos. Ok i get it. Let me tell you that CR-X are not the same printer like CR10S PRO. They are similar to untrained eye but CR-X has alot of issues and some problems that was reported from users as well some You-tubers. I don't recommend CR-X at all and that's why I did not make any review of it. It's just not good two color 3d printer by design and it need's alot of work, also it has lower print quality comparing to Cr10S PRO which is way better choice. Now C20/Pro came on the market before CR10S PRO and it's on the market for some time now. They are not that popular because of the price point. Cr20 is smaller version of CR10S PRO but not the same. Cr10S PRO has auto level, filament run out sensor, insulation under heated bed, Touch LCD screen with nicer software, Thick removable print plate, Solid state relay, MW power supply, stronger filament cooling fan, upgraded Capricorn PTFE tube with new hot end and better couplers, Double geared upgraded extruder and more... which CR20/pro don't have. Cr20 has the same print volume like Ender 3 but it cost twice as much. I can't really recommend it at that price range. CR10S PRO is the best printer with huge print volume that I tested so far under 1000USD. My advice: Just get one and enjoy in 3D printing.

I do not disagree with your review of the printer. I did have some issues: 1> The fans are too loud as you mentioned. I do not feel this is acceptable as quieter fans are not that much more expensive to install from the factory, but to buy them retail and retrofit them after the fact, that costs quite a bit more. It is a worthwhile upgrade though in regards to the end result. Thanks to videos like yours (and your later CR-10S Pro videos) I am in the process of replacing ALL of the fans. So far all I have left to do is replace the 2 fans on the hot end. I replaced the rear exhaust fan with 2 fans wired in series. I also replaced the controller board fan with 2 fans wired in series using a double fan bracket that I designed with inspiration taken from the single fan bracket. The second fan is pointing at the relay. On my printer that I purchased almost 5 months after yours, there was a large aluminum heatsink on the DC Relay. That is a really good upgrade that Creality has done. I also replaced the power supply fan as well, but that one was almost plug and play except having to splice the wires. I turned on my printer for the first time with the only stock fans being in the hot end and it was very quiet. I was upgrading the touchscreen and controller firmwares to a TM3D version. I have 2 more fans on order and look forward to seeing what the machine is like after those two are replaced. I will probably have to go through a PID recalibration to make sure that it is setup properly, but in exchange for the low-noise level, it will be worth it. Thank you again for your videos as they are part of the inspiration and information needed to take on upgrades like this. I am also in the process of installing a V3 BLTouch and I just read about applying a jumper to a couple of pins on the break out board Z- to make the BLTouch work properly. The other mods I have done right out of the box include the z timing pulley and timing belt mod so now both z axis' stay synchronized as well as the T8 backlash nuts being installed. I also am installing the all metal micro swiss hot end and eventually when the Zesty Nimble arrives, I'll get that installed as well. I do wonder why Creality doesn't have the anti backlash nuts and the timing belt sync done from the factory. Those two things would be less than $10 in parts (for them) but greatly improve the repeatability of the printer design. Even paying retail prices those two upgrades alone were less than $20 and if I had wanted to wait longer to receive them I could have gotten them for less than $12 total.

Of all the reviews this is the very best. Well done. I'm on the look out for a 3D printer and have been watching Creality and Prusa for just over a year. I think you have convinced me what I want in the next month. Creality have done a stellar job on their production and quality management. Q. What materials is the CR10S Pro not good with? Anyway, excellent video. You really put the time in for this one and the results show that.

Hi, This is the best CR10S Pro review I've ever seen. Thank your for your detailed effort. I purchased a v2 version of this machine after I saw your video. For two weeks I am dealing with it. I strength the Z axis accentric bolts, did the antibacklash nut mod that you did and mostly solved the Z axis falling issue. I also change the bed surface with original Creality Glass bed but I did not liked it because it does not stick enough, and prints pup off during print or warp. So I changed it again with original Creality Cmagnet magnetic bed and I am satisified with it now. Its still sticky as the default bed and also easy to remove the parts after printing. To conclude I am trying to maximize the quality of my prints with Esun PLA filament, and try different setting but can not improve anymore with Cura so decided to move to Simplify 3D. Can I use your S3D profile with v2? Or do you have any further suggestions ? Thanks, Onur.

Maybe in an enclosure?
@NexiTech3 жыл бұрын
Hi Legion and welcome aboard :) Thank you so much for your trust and your kind words. V2 is the way to go now as it has much more precise and reliable Autolevel sensor other than that it is the same machine. I think you will be satisfied with this 3D printer as a beginner. Nylon yes but for carbon fiber you would need to swap the nozzle for some hardened steal one. Wish you great day!

Nexi question: I have an Ender 3 and I made a heated encloasure for it. I moved the motherboard and the control panel from the frame of the Ender to the outside of the encloasure so you don't overheat the motherboard and can operate the priter without opening the encloasure. So my question is it would be possible to do the same thing with the CR10S - PRO? Or are the electronics part of the frame and cannot be moved? Tnx for the reply!

It's been 1 year since I'm looking on all the best affordable 3d printers , and i will not buy the PRUSA MK3, cos it's absolutely not worth the money for the problems and the quality of the prints. So, do i go with buying this one?? I think this cr10s pro it's a badass printer 😎😏

Mike Giorgio I searched a lot (as you) for my first 3d printer back in 2013 - my Ultimaker2. And yes, this CR-10S Pro printer looks like an awesome value for money. I’m searious thinking to get one of those. If you don’t want a so big size machine, depending on your aplication it’s not necessary, you should also take a look at Tevo Flash (with all add-ons: TMC, double Z) that is also a good printer for the money, by far the best printer from Tevo. And it’s not small... bigger than Ender 3 series that I consider a good size machine. But Tevo Flash needs some small adjusts in my opinion to go the level of this one... but it’s cheaper

Cool mate! I'm glad that you liked my video. Yeah me too! I love the idea that you can design and produce any type of plasitic object in your home and with materials like PLA,PETG and naylon you can have very strong plastic part or object. I also like how 3d printing community is growing rapidly. Now we don't need to pay tons of money to get decent 3d printer. Look my Ender 3 review. For less then 200usd you can get very nice medium size machine with impressive print quality for the price point. Now we have Cr10S Pro for big prints and with some awesome improvements over the cr10S from the last year. Love my CR10S PRO and it's my favourite big size 3D printer now. I highly recommend it.
@mikegiorgio73166 жыл бұрын
@@NexiTech that's my main problem, because I believe the ender 3 does the same job as the cr10 right? So what one do you raccomed? But again , i never own one yet so , I'm based on people's review. For sure, i wont buy a Prusa , maybe I'm wrong, but for me a 1000k machine , that has clip tie to hold main components and that doesn't print as people say . I see cheaper machine printing better and cleaner than that, so it's not worth the money . But again its just my thinking. I'll go for the cr10s pro but I've just find out about the cr20 lol. @NexiTech5 жыл бұрын
Kketansa Art Thanks mate! Not sure what do you mean? Carbon Fibre? Metal? Wood? You mean PLA and PETG mixed with those materials? You need hardened nozzle for those filaments and just for the record those mixed materials with particles of metal,wood or carbon fiber are actually weaker materials then stock PLA,PETG or ABS.
@KetansaCreatesArt5 жыл бұрын
@@NexiTech Yes sorry, I should be clear. Yes the Wood, metal and carbon particle infused filaments. Ok I understand, there is no different heat level setting for these three. Just needs hard nozzle. Thank you for replying. :)

Awesome review of the CR-10S Pro! I have a CR-10 Mini and just ordered a Pro yesterday. I'm curious if you're using any additional adhesion methods such as glue or hairspray on the bed of the Pro, or are you printing directly to it? There were a couple times that it looked like maybe you were using something, but it was hard to tell.

Thanks Jason! I was using AprintaStick(Link in description) for PETG( Robot R) and for ABS. No smell, it sticks great and its washable. It's not must to use it for PETG sut sense I print that robot R over the night I did not want to take any chances. In case of ABS it likes to warp so any adhesive is recommended.

You have your PLA profile in the description. Any chance of your TPU/PLA or some pointers on the settings used in this video as a starting point.

Fantastic review! Would you recomand CR10S Pro or the Tevo Flash? If you think that the 2 printers are comparable, where do this printer win over Flash and where Flash shines? Thank you and keep the good work with this deep reviews!

Great review and great results Nexi! I own the printer, for some time, but I have problems cleaning the hot bed. The PLA sticks so hard to the bed, that (thin) skirts are impossible to clean cold or hot. Any feedback on your experience and any suggestions how to clean this type of bed, especially since you have tried not only PLA, but all other major materials and could recommend how to clean them and what alcohol to use (if any)? Thanks!

I had the same issues. The only resolve i found was more practise leveling the bed, if its welding skirts to the bed, raise it up about +0.04 in your live z offset and it will help, if needed go up a littlebit more until you perfect your leveling

Nice review. If you use 0.05mm layer with 0.2 nozzle, it can show better quality?

Did you do indepth leveling?or did i miss that part somewhere? Very nice review video by the way, i purchased a pro a few weeks and and have been loving it

Thanks Pally! I'm glad that you liked my video. Here is how I level mine Cr10S PRO: Take 0.2 mm feeler gauge and go to manual leveling and start it. Place 0.2 mm feeler gauge under the nozzle and use leveling wheels and adjust it on every corner and in middle. Then repeat manual leveling procedure again even 2-3 times to make it perfect. Then go to leveling select auto leveling and let the printer take the measurements over the print bed. After that fine adjust z level by clicking on + or -. Then start the print and look at the nozzle when printer move and start to print first layer. If needed adjust nozzle Z height "on live" by clicking on + and -(go slow and don't click on it few times without waiting few seconds for buffer) That's it. P.S. ''Update'' Creality will ship the newest versions with an inductive proximity sensor. It's confirmed so you don't need to adjust ''live first print layer'' because of inductive probe is consistent unlike the capacitive probe which react with air and temperature and can be inaccurate. I hope Creality will start to sell their new inductive sensor probe so I can change mine capacitive sensor probe on my Cr10S pro.

@@NexiTech thanks so much for the reply!i will save your comment in my leveling notes :D. i am very excited to hear about the inductive probe as my printer has already had one cap sensor fail and impacted the bed for a few moments while i had stepd away, thankfully it is still in 100% working order.

Hey Nexi, you are using simplify 3d or cura? And could you make a tutorial for the settings or your thoughtprocess when inside the slicer for the cr10pro. I would appreaciate it alot. thanks for the best reviews out there.
