Creality Ender 3 Max 3D Printer, All Metal FDM 3D Printer with Larger Glass Bed Silent Mainboard All Metal Extruder Smart Sensor Dual Cooling Fans
Max workspace
Creality Ender 3 Max offers a large build volume of 300x300x340mm allowing you to expand your creative possibilities. Even though it has the same price with ender 5, With the ender 3 max, you will have more choices because of the max workspace.
Modular hotend
The Ender 3 Max has a newly developed hot-end design and simplifies the exchange of individual components. In addition, the hotend has dual fans that allow better heat dissipation. An integrated copper nozzle enables better heat resistance and faster melting of the materials.
Proven stable structure
Even movements and stable printing are made possible thanks to the proven stable structure with a precise Z-axis leadscrew and V-slot profiles.
Intelligent functions
The Creality Ender 3 Max is equipped with a filament sensor and a resume print function. If the filament accidentally runs out or an unexpected power failure occurs, you can easily and conveniently resume printing. This saves you valuable material and time.
Carborundum Glass Platform
This glass plate is a popular upgrade for a 3D printer because of its very good adhesion and fast heating-up speed. The smooth first layer also increases the aesthetics of your finished models. With the Ender 3 Max, you no longer have to buy this upgrade because the 3D printer already includes it.

The Last Problem With spaceship is a Pain in the Ass kind of problem. but i have found what causes it as i was having this issue with so many of my models which i designed. which have one thin in common they have so many vertex. so i first lower the number of them then it worked out but i dont want to compromise the quality and after like a mont of hassel i found the problem. It is the POWER LOSS RECOVERY Function which causes this. if you turn it off then it will work out good.

I just bought an Ender 3 Max. This video really helped me. Being new to 3D printing, it was like having an expert seating beside me while I set it up all the way to printing. Thanks. Well done. One little problem that I had and I did not see any mention in the video is that when adjusting the 6 wheels under the printer, even if I loosen all 3 adjustable ones, it was still not a smooth movement. I found that one of the non-adjustable wheel was screwed too tight. After I found this, everything went smoothly.

Creality really did a good job on this printer and I can speak from experience because I bought one myself. Awesome seller as well and that I can speak from experience as well because I purchased one from this company and I definitely recommend buying from this seller. Very easy to put together and it only took me 15 minutes. There is one thing that Creality needs to fix with the Z axis end stop switch. It's mounted with two screws though the frame which Creality changed because people were having a hard time adjusting the z axis. Now that it's solid mounted you can't move it up or down. I have found many ways to fix this problem and if anyone is having this problem let me know and I will gladly help you fix it. Other than that the printer has been awesome and prints just as well as the Ender 3 original.

It really helped when you pointed out the tips to look out for like tightening the bolts. Some of mine were pretty loose so I'm glad you advised to check those. I was pretty anxious about setting it up and getting started with 3D printing but you really eased a lot of the stress!

There was a video where one guy actually turned off the power loss recovery in the G code and it stopped making the dimples. He was also able to program the g code in that when he turned on spiral vase mode it turns off the power loss recovery automatically. That might help with the dimpling. Bryan Vines is the guy who shows you how to set it to do so.

Haven't purchased any yet, still in the research process, but your video on the Max is extremely helpful and covers A-Z of what I wanted to learn about this version. My main interest is printable area, second and third is expense for materials, upgrades and the electric bill. If Ender isn't paying you for your efforts, they should be! BL touch you litterally just plug it in underneath that main cover he said he didnt want to touch at the beginning of the video, download the firmware to your Sim card, and level your machine... Pretty user friendly if you're familiar with your 3D printer... Just screw it in, plug it in, calibrate and go! Unfortunately you do need to manually calibrate for the first time, but after that you never really do... I bought some silicon springs for mine I'm still waiting for it in the mail but pretty much same results as I've been told.

Ringing comes from vibrations in the printer caused from harsh movements. It can usually be solved by reducing the acceleration and jerk settings on the printer and printing proper belt tensioners with adjustment knobs to adjust the belt tension precisely. I know they exist for the CR-10 and Tevo Tornado, so they probably exist for the Ender 3 models too.

@@scooter0241 Initially yes I did. Keep the bed at 80C, my petg (esun) first layer at 240, following layers at 235 (you may have to tweak that). Fan off for the first 4 layers, at 15-25% for the rest) and most important clean the glass bed with alcohol and no fingerprints on it.

I did the exact same upgrade path Pat. I went from a monoprice select v2 to the ender 3-max. I still use my upgraded MP v2 with direct drive upgrade for tpu. Quick note for anyone adding a bltouch 3.1 to the Ender3-Max, the firmware on Creality's website is set to save settings to your sdcard. I was going nuts trying to save my z-offset settings.

Fantastic video. I looked at the instructions that came in the box and decided that I either needed a google search or a very good magnifying glass. Thanks goodness Google led mt to this video. Every step of the setup was covered in detail. I had difficulty getting the print to stick, ended up moving the z-axis stop a little bit higher and after that the adjustment worked a treat (I thought I had bookmarked the video I found on Google for that, but now can't find it). Dog and cat successfully built from the Ender sim card files (although it's a bit strange that you have to move the files from the source folder on the sim card to the "root" directory in order to be able to print them). One additional thing I found was that removing a print from the plain glass bed is easier if, once the build is done, you preheat the bed to a slightly higher temperature than the build temperature (probably don't want to wait too long once it reaches the higher temperature though). Again many many thanks for the video.

I love my Ender 3 (v1). I've been itching to buy a Max, but I just can't bring myself to do it. When I consider the upgrades that I would want, the CR-10 v3 always seems to make more sense at a similar price point (to the Max+upgrades). You absolutely hit on the one thing that I love about this printer, the footprint.

My wishlist: large cube-design (>= 300mm cubed build volume) with motors outside cube so you can turn it into an enclosure (I guess that means core-XY), separate electronics box (so it can move out of the enclosed volume), direct-drive with dual-grabbing geared extruder and full metal hotend (doesn't have to be too fancy), glass bed (only moving up/down) supported at least at 2 opposing sides (preferably with separate steppers and some auto-alignment) and with AC heating (mostly to avoid PSU problems at higher bed temps). This Ender 3 Max is just a more expensive Ender 3 with a bit more volume, but retaining all the flaws which made my wishlist as mentioned. X gantry only supported at one side, bowden with long/inaccurate retractions, big bed swinging back and forth, requires rework to enclose, still no full-metal hotend, ... Would be good enough for €250, but I see way higher prices...

A lot of good comments here, as I'm looking to purchase one myself. Bare with me as I have never had a 3D printer so a lot of this is new language to me. Therefore some points just go far too fast to see what you did. Namely 37:24, where a yellow box suddenly appears. I went over this 5 times, and still can't see what you did. I heard " so now we're gonna bring the model here", and the mouse goes Voom Voom and the yellow box suddenly appears. Sometimes, you just have to slow down a bit...

Great set-up video! Just trying my first print on the 3-Max... When testing with bed level with the paper, how much resistance should there be to movement when you have it "just right"; should it drag just a little, or require a modest amount of force to more the paper? (obviously not allowing the paper to "bunch-up" when you try to push it!) Also, your Cura settings (only the ones that are different from default) would be helpful to have as a bullet-point list in the video description. Saves having to pause/play the video to make notes! Thanks!

What if the bed could be twisted to print 3 metre lenghs of a h frame. Modified bed to have underneath blocks can electrically shift to break the connective bonds and additional arm to drag the h frame off onto additional side rollers or similar . It would be interesting to see a side printed h frame at various lengths from a manufacturing point of view .

I like the dual cooling fans but dual Z synced lead screws would have been nice as well, I prefer the mono screen and encoder wheel as Creality doesn't seem to be that good at colour GUI's, even when they have a colour palette to choose from they go for 1 colour and 1 hue and have no uniformity in their icons across the printer range. This is a nice printer although buying it from Amazon will see you being scalped for £100 over the price from buying direct Creality and buying at Aliexpress will see you save the price of a roll of filament over the Creality price

Been watching a few videos, trying to figure what kind of printer I should get. All of them are the same, they freak out about the power supply set to 220w and not 110w, or what the settings are labeled as. It's real simple, these things are shipped all over the world, plugging in a device set to 220 into 110, most likely NOTHING will work, at most a couple lights may come on. Plug a device set to 110w into a 220w outlet? You WILL let out the "magic smoke" that makes it work, and if you don't catch it in time or something nearby is flammable enough, you may lose your house. It's not as big a deal as you all make it out to be considering you have no idea where it's being bought from and you have no clue where it's going. I used to work for a company building computers...every power supply came set at 220w, and imagine the shock when I had to set them to 110w. ***The U.S. is one of the few countries in the world who uses 110w. I know a lot of companies websites that you must specify 110 or 220 when you buy an item, so they can make sure you get the correct item, otherwise, you must send it back because it doesn't have a one or the other setting. I think just flipping a switch is easier.

I bought one of these from Amazon, managed one good print then while doing second print of same thing that just finished the print head stopped then slammed all the way left and just kept trying to drive left. Did the Amazon support link for the printer, lady in fair English said I need to upgrade firmware. The printer was released in Nov 2020. Shi**y help from her all she did was send me a link to a youtube site about FW upgrade for the MAX. I needed to buy a bootloader board from a 3rd party site. Tried Edner support, even worse.. Packed it up and sent it back. Still looking for a decent 3d printer :-(

still using single z axis. little bit of dust and slight wear = ur unsupported side is gonna droop and start colliding with ur print. i still dont get why they dont do dual z.. the dual Z with linear rail was a pain in the ass to do..

Great video helped out very much on my first printer. What is a good way to remove a printed piece after plate is cooled down. A wide print that is stuck. Thanks.

Helpful video. I plan to study it to assemble mine when it arrives. Where is the manual for this printer? I couldnt find one online or on their site anywhere. Seems that they have almost no support. When you try to contact them, the form fails. Are they going out of business or something?

I got one a couple weeks ago and is it just me or are there some pre installed upgrades in there. And the 3rd cooling fan adds a ton

Awesome! May I ask what nozzle did you use for your prints, as well as the layer height?
