Hi from the UK Skylar, I think your videos are very very good, you explain everything in detail. I purchased the creality Falcon 2 Pro 40w after watching your demo, I love the 3D Tulip engrave! I have also purchased this on Etsy I have been days now trying to get the engrave as good and sharp as yours…I think I have tried every setting and still cannot get it as good as yours. Have you any tips on the settings I could try please?

Best of best. I will be buying a Creality Falcon 2 Pro this week and your reviews helped a lot. I wonder what is the maximum MDF thickness that this machine can cut ? One more question can we cut floor laminates (6 or 8 mm thickness) with 40 w lasers ? Thank you for sharing.

Nice video! Did you try engraving in the precise 22W mode?
@paulappswildlifeart9 ай бұрын
Hi Skylar, so pleased you have the Falcon 2 pro. I have the 22w version, under test etc right now. I am puzzled about the red not green light on my laser head, I cannot figure out why it is not green. The dial-down makes the red light flash and then dial-up it is constant. the pump is working but not a green light, can you shed some light for me please, cheers Paul

PS when you start the unit it is green then within 60 seconds it turns red

:) when you turn on machine air assist dial has to be off. Turn on machine then move dial up. Nothing wrong with machine, air assist still working but I know what you mean. I asked creality about it and they explain it to me why this is happening but I didn’t really understand it
@woodworkingwithSkyler9 ай бұрын
But if you follow the steps I mentioned light should be green. Let me know if it worked

@@woodworkingwithSkyler Cheers Skylar, It starts off flashing red, then goes green then a short while later goes to flashing red again, as it is idle. I will put a small cut on it and see if it goes green again. you are a star cheers P

Don't really have the room, nor the use case - yet - but dang, the 3D box effect and similar effects has got me thinking. That is a work flow I had not considered - and I like it! Thanks!

I watched you review lasers but which one is your favorite that you use for your business or your personal use
@woodworkingwithSkyler9 ай бұрын
The one I like the most and use for my business is the Xtool S1 40W. Also as a secondary laser I have the Xtool F1
@mrombit6059 ай бұрын
@@woodworkingwithSkyler Hi, Skyler, 1st watched your review on Xtool S1 40W, and today found this one on Falcon 2 Pro 40W. From above reply you already answered you prefer Xtool S1 instead FP 2 40W. Can you please give you opinion on the follwoing: a) is it cutting wood about the same for those two lasers? b) did not managed to find is it posiible FC2 Pro 22W upgrade to by just replacing the 22W laser module with 40W laser module, i.e. at some point later after buying FC2 Pro 22W if more power will be required {because here in UK official store now don't have 40W in stock} ? c) would it be better to go for Xtool S1 instead because of better customer support vs Creality (horrible support from forums/feedback), and sacrifice a buil in camera (is it worth it to have, because it is always possible to connect a usb web camera to work with Lightburn). In the end - I am very impressed by your honest and detail video reviews. Great work and great project (boxes) examples. P.s: also noticed you have a lot of videos on various topics on your site, will be watching more of them. Good luck.

Love the designs you came up with by using some very simple shapes. So creative! I have been toying with the idea of purchasing a laser. After seeing how you incorporate it into your woodworking, I may take the plunge. thanks for what you do.
