INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 lb small pasta shells
1 envelope of taco seasoning mix
2 tsp chicken bouillon powder
1 drained can of Rotel
4 1/2 cups water
8 oz mild cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
salt and pepper to taste

I love the simple concept of a one pot meal that is so satisfying. Is there a reason why you drained the Rotel? I see you added quite a bit of water. I'm thinking using the Rotel liquid would add to the flavor. Stay warm. Thank you for the no-nonsense recipes.

I made this today and used the list of spices you gave, I probably could have added more spice but it was better than taco seasoning. I also chopped onion and garlic to cook with the beef....topped all with nutmeg, kosher salt and black pepper. Loooove this recipe!

Just did an H-E-B pick up for all ingredients that I did not have on hand at home and now it’s cooking away. Waiting for the noodles to finish boiling in the pot then I’ll be adding the cream and cheese I’m telling you the smell is so delicious. Thank you. ❤ by the way, my husband asked for how many people does it feed. I told him we will eat until we are full and I have enough to make another entire pot. 😊 that made him happy.

I made this recipe and cut it in half because it's just my husband & I. I did use 1 pound of lean ground beef, and 1/2 box of shell pasta. I also used the entire can of tomatoes as well as all of the taco seasoning, I used about 1 cup of shredded cheddar and about 6 ounces of the velvetta, because that's just how we roll. It was absolutely amazing and a recipe sure to keep. Even with cutting it in half, we will have enough left over for lunch.
