Apples... the trademark fruit of the autumnal season. Whether you prefer tart or sweet, there's a flavor for every palette. From ciders to pies, to cakes and dumplings, fall just wouldn't be complete without this juicy fruit.
Also marking the beginning of fall is the start of the school year for children. An apple for the teacher... have you ever heard this expression? Dating back to the 1700s, before governments were responsible for the education of its people, poorer families gave these to teachers as payment to compensate for teaching their children.
Some also state this is the forbidden fruit in the Bible which symbolizes knowledge. And while giving a teacher an apple today might be viewed as a little strange, you can still show your teacher appreciation with this twist on the tradition... apple soaps in a variation of colors and scents for different tastes.

* Delicious Green Apple: A fresh and balanced blend of apple, cucumber and yuzu with notes of white florals and fresh cut roses, all on a base of amber, sandalwood and musk. Compare to the popular perfume!
* Lavender Apple: A whimsical twist on the fruit colored in purple and scented with a custom blend of juicy apples and French lavender, with notes of tranquil herbs and delicate florals on a base of camphor and vanilla.

I was never really a perfume girl, however, about a year ago my husband bought me the "Be Delicious" by DKNY and I absolutely fell in LOVE with it! I love granny smith apples and it smells exactly like them, plus it last a really long time, I can still smell it on my clothes 2 days later. I am now a perfume girl!
