You are absolutely right that lighting is the most important thing in photography. I have used the iphone for making blogs through photos and videos. We always would need a dedicated camera anyway.

@Adorama I am so glad to see Pye with some knowledge on how important it is to understand light and how to use window light.

Thanks ADORAMA for having someone like Mr. Pye Jirsa show how many times in capturing in image is not much to do with gear but with paying attention to light! Sure from this point on for those who want to dive into Photography ADORAMA is a fantastic place to get gear.

Simply wonderful, Pye. The information is invaluable, but what I most enjoy is the relaxed, conversational tone you use, and the clarity and conciseness of your explanations. Together they powerfully reinforce your idea that one needn’t be a professional to take and make great images. Please do more of these-they’re deeply inspiring.

Hey, Pye great video of showing how to use a room in your house with a good sized window for a small portrait studio. I am impressed with how Lightroom mobile is very similar to Lightroom CC and love how you processed the photo, but(yes a but) in my eyes I can still see that there are some small imperfections in the photo on the right hand side of his face in the shadows. I am not sure if it is because of the way KZbin pushes out the video or if it is because of it being shot on a phone, otherwise, I love the concept and how you can use anything to shoot a portrait around the house. Thanks again for such a great video showing amateurs what they can do to up their game and take beautiful shots.

Thanks for Sharing these tips. I am a beginner shooting just with my phone and it was amazing to learn from u. Want to shift to camera but they are costly and complex. Waiting for some new systems that may be easy for guys like me to shift

This is so cool Pye! I hardly use LR mobile because I prefer using my DSLR, but this will work in a pinch, and stir the creative soul. PS: Have any of you try printing an iPhone image after editing? Just a thought. Thanks y’all ✌🏾
@BornUncreative4 жыл бұрын
Yes! So if you are careful and squeeze the most out of the phone (giving it good light, and enough light) then it prints no problem. If you are using it's low light capabilities, then it's a bit strugs. It also struggles with significant cropping. Get it right in camera, and it's no problem to print.

To get more out of an image from an iPhone get closer than you need and shoot a pano the file will be bigger and have more MP vs a single shot to print.
