2:12 For those who are in a version that blender doesn't has musgrave texture, it can be solved easily by craeting a noise texture node, and changing the fBM to Hetero Terrain.

Still cant get it to look like the video. I get much larger shaded black and white areas, almost like a giraffe pattern instead of this plaster. I double checked all values, but I must be missing something. It's like the bottom Noise Texture and color ramp is not doing anything. I can delete them and the mixer and it won't do a difference.

@@HansMilling i believe you can a map node to change it and scale it. Maybe you can check the normals. Its various factors, now you have to lool for all of em 😂😂, good luck.

Yes, you'll need the mix RGB shader. Apologies for any confusion.

Nice tutorial, unfotunatelly does not seem to translate well to Blender 4.1 since the Musgrage/Noise Texture has changed a bit

A lot has changed with nodes since version 3. Even between 4.0 and 4.1 I'm currently redoing all textures however the regular updates to the software make this a challenge.
