Fantastic video Florian. I look forward to seeing all the cool things you will do with Atom2 and your Launchpad pro. Almost makes me want to trade in my Launchpad X.

Why to trade? Doesn't Atom 2 support LPX?
@tkelly193213 жыл бұрын
@@1ezybeat894 Atom2 supports LPX but the LP Pro has extra buttons that can do things like ‘clear’, ‘duplicate’, ‘quantise on/off’ - these commands are not possible on LPX

@@SAMIZRAEL Wow, the man himself on my KZbin Channel :). Love your presets bro. Currently no, Victor only made controllers for the MK III series. The scripting is open, so anyone could make that in theory, based on the MK III version. Don’t know how different the control scheme for the MK II is.

Wonderful thank you! I have a usb c hub connected to iPad and when I connect launchpad to it it gets power, but AUM doesn’t “see” it ... any thoughts on that?
@FlorianRachor13 жыл бұрын
Does it see the LP Pro when you directly connect it? I heard before that USB-C hubs can be hit or miss with Apple. I‘m having troubles with an external SSD that won‘t work in about 50% of the time.

Hi Florian. What version iPadOS are you on? Do you get any errors when screen recording with EVO 4 connected?
@FlorianRachor13 жыл бұрын
I‘m on 14.4, usually it works fine, but I get occasional dropouts when I switch apps and the DSP shoots through the roof. Also as someone already mentioned some occasional pops, but I think this might be me being a complete noob when it comes to recording.
@PaakoBravoo3 жыл бұрын
@@FlorianRachor1 I think the issue is with the EVO 4. it keeps disconnecting on the iPhone when i enable phantom power and on the ipad pro 2018 it crashes my screen recordings. so i’ve not been uploading videos lately. this is what happens when connected to the iPhone ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYLPZGuVpbepa6M ) i sent a report to Audient almost 3 weeks now and still no reply so i’m sending the unit back.

Florian, can U make some small video which describes ur SETUP and how do U connect Launchpad novation to ur ipad? Launchpad app literally saved my life. I`ve recently bought Novation Launchpad X. At first I thought it can be connected to iOS devices just with USB-C - Lightning cable, but unfortunately I was very WRONG =(

Hi serge, did you get this working? I have a launchpad pro mk3 and ipad air2, so do I just need lightning to USB adapter or anything else? Thanks
@litvinovserge2 жыл бұрын
@@philipm2100 Hi! Yes, original (apple only!) adapter lightning to USB works perfect even with iphone. Ipad pro versions with USB-C connector (i have the latest one with M1 chip) , launchpad can be connected both by usb-c -> usb-c cable and by using any (non-original apple) usb-c adapters.

So it’s not velocity sensitive? That’s the challenge in using pads. At that point I might as well be just drawing in notes.

The Launchpad Pro mk3 (featured in this video) and the Launchpad X are both velocity sensitive. Atom 2 properly records velocity.

My thing with Atom 2 is it is hit and miss on drum notes.
@FlorianRachor13 жыл бұрын
I‘m not quite sure what you mean? In regard to something like EG Pulse or Drumcomputer? What troubles do you have there?
