its not working in the newer version of procreate. under intense blending there were weird square shadows

There does need to be some adjustments to be made with the newer version, but the weird square shadow is not because of the update. The canvas you make your brush on needs to be pure black. The square shadow means when you copied the shape, it copied the canvas as well because it wasn't pure black. Any hint of gray will render as part of the shape when you finally use the brush. Please check this and get back to me.

@@MakeThisBrush I just tried this, and after some trial and error, it seems like the only way to get any blending is to set the color hues at 50% for both of the secondary color settings. Otherwise, when i put it to 100%, the stroke changed from white to black and the final brush only had shading at the very last pixel or two of the edge. Just my experience! If you've found a better solution I'd trust yours!

I'm keep getting the problem of unwanted outline. Not only this brush but every brush that you uploaded tutorial of that involves change in rendering values. I tried changing colour dynamics pressure curve but it doesn't work

On mine I noticed I was getting an issue where the second brush in a combined brush needs to be set to 50% to be the right size and the shape has to be rotated 90 degrees

If you are using an older version of Procreate, you can access the OG stabilization slider in the STROKE tab. There's only one slider (underneath SPACING). Hope this helps!

That's because the finger has no pressure sensitivity, but the apple pencil does. Try adjusting the pressure sensitivity of your apple pencil in your ipad settings.

When you paste your shape to the SHAPE canvas, you might be inverting the values. before tapping DONE, tap the canvas with 2 fingers to invert the values. Hope that works. :)

Hi there. Check in PROPERTIES and adjust your MAXIMUM BRUSH SIZE to a higher value and MINIMUM BRUSH SIZE to zero, maybe that will help. :)

Make sure you are creating your shape with 100% opacity brush so it won't be transparent. Also, make sure you are drawing with pure white, not even a little bit of grey. Hope this helps!

Hi, thank you for great video! But I seem to have a problem with colors, I can’t choose two colors just one, and when I choose a color, the color applies as light color and shadow part is just black. Hi techelaa. Try going into the brush setting and in PROPERTIES lower the value of the BRUSH BEHAVIOR MAXIMUM SIZE. Hope that helps!

I think the problem is you combined the brush incorrectly. Uncombine them by going into brush settings, then tap twice on the second brush and choose uncombine. Go back out into the brush settings, tap/highlight the brush with the 3d texture first then swipe right on the plain round then combine again. Hope that works! :)
