@@5MinutesBlender I want to create a musical stage with cable wires from the mic 🎤 to the floor, then to the amplifiers. I wish KZbin can allow embedding image. But I hope it's clear now. Thanks for all the effort.

@@peterpan5087 Ok, I got you. We can do that by using a curve with suitable extrude method, or by using a curve modifier. We'll surely plan for an appropriate tutorial on this. Thanks for the suggestion 👍

@@cap_fearless8696 No problem. It will help us if you can share any video where this is used or any GIF etc. so that we can get a better idea exactly what kind of marquee you're looking for.

@@5MinutesBlender The title of the video is How to create 3D printed LIGHT MARQUEE with Fusion 360 and LED strip by Duke Doks. The search query for such content is "carteles 3D" I request you make it on Blender as fusion 360 is not familiar. There is language barrier between so its hard to follow up with their tutorial. How can i bend 3d headphone to straight ? I means how to bend with fix part that 3d headphone look real with straight shape
@5MinutesBlender Жыл бұрын
If I understood this question correctly, you have a headphone model with curved part. You want to bend it on the opposite side to make it straight. The bend process will be the same. Assume that it is already straight and bend it using a deform modifier but use a negative value in the bend angle. One drawback is, even if the object looks straight after this, it will still have deformations along its length, that is difficult to remove just with a modifier. You'll probably need to remodel it.

Wait what makes this better than pivoting around the 3D cursor or using a curve modifier?
@5MinutesBlender2 жыл бұрын
When you pivot around 3D cursor, the entire object will rotate. But what we are doing here is bending of an object. So part of the object will go one way, the other part will go another way. This is different from pivoting an object. You can get similar results also with a curve modifier. But a curve modifier has its own challenges (which you can of course overcome tactfully). Same thing, in two different ways.

I think it's the subdivision part for me
@5MinutesBlender Жыл бұрын
@@mrgalvathron It may be tricky because the Simple Deform modifier is itself tricky and we are using two of them here. You need to place the empty correctly, and use correct values everywhere which again depends on your object placement and its dimensions. And yes, subdivisions are important as well. If you can't get it working at all, you can send your blend file to us. We will check and suggest you what should be done. Thanks!
