wow best detailed explanation I have seen, awesome work. I have seen others use tab spacing and reference spacing and have me lost on how to speed up or slow down the text. now this makes a lot more sense in the break down of breaking it down and doing everything in sections and I will be trying this on my next video. ;) thank you

Using tab spacing is great alternative as well, the only issue that comes with it is that you can't make different adjustment to the font type, size, colors, etc.. between the role and name. And personally I rather having one bolder than the other to make it easier to read and more interesting visually. Anyway, glad it was helpful!

@@l0rdcroissant Most likely because your text is out of frame, use the on screen control to check if you have the red arrow to move the text around

Great explanation! What can you do if the maximum height of the text BG is too small for a longer credit roll?

The maximum height is capped at "32767" which should be plenty for a small production. But if for whatever reason you need more, you can right click on your background select "edit control" select the "height" and change the maximum value to whatever you want. This will remove the cap and you'll be able to raise the value

I'm watching the video right now and have been following along and enjoying it but now I am running into the issue of when i move the transform node to move a full selection, it moves in freeform. Can anybdy tell me how to lock the transform to be guided or move how its staying in some uniformity in the video. Thank you!

I figured it out. I notice closer that he is selecting the up arrow tip and that keeps it locked in its centered position while being able to move up or down.

P.S.- It's a problem that I have even with the pre-set text scroll in DaVinci, so it's not a problem of the work on fusion

The cause could be pretty wide. But I would first look into the frame rates, somehow not having the same frame rate between the project, timeline and export could cause problem. But I would have a hard time giving you any indication just like that, I would need to troubleshoot playing around with the software

Hard to tell without visual, probably due to a wrong input somehow the image being set as background instead of background. Make sure that your "arrow" connections are the same that's all I can think off

I think i solved it (you probably did months ago but i ll still put it in here) Apparently The Merge Notes need to be in the correct order. Merge1 before Merge2. Thats what did it for me.

hey, I bought some of your templates can you make a template for rolling credits with the flexibility to use columns and the ability to use different fonts for different columns. as you know in rolling credits in resolve you can't change individual fonts in rolling credits when you change the header fonts you change all so pls create a template that has these functions. thanks

No need to make it that complicated if you have a png image. You can simply do it from the edit page by keyframing the vertical position to make it scroll
