Its really very nice. I made this with edge black means bevel color is black. your video contains so much information in short time. I have seen many channel on blender tutorial but your videos are really on top if we consider time and blender stuff/technic. Good job bro.👍👍👍❤❤

Is it possible to set keyframes for the parent rotations without the rotations being reset after clearing the parent? Every time I have keyframes set and then clear the parent with the transform, the cube resets itself.
@5MinutesBlender Жыл бұрын
It is possible. Instead of using "Clear Parent" use the option "Clear and Keep Transformation". I checked that just now and it does not reset the cube. Did you try that?
@traceywalton2426 Жыл бұрын
@@5MinutesBlender Yes. That's the problem I have. Whenever I clear and keep transformation with key frames, it resets the cube.

Hello, when I tried the colour was not changing to the boxes in faces. Please reply , what can be done ?
@5MinutesBlender10 ай бұрын
That's strange 🤔 You need to be in the Edit mode, then select the desired faces, and also select the desired material from the material list - for red color select the red material - then click on the apply button right below the material list. This should change the material color for the selected faces. It's very basic to Blender, and remember that you need to be in the Material view mode or Rendered view mode (instead of the default Solid view mode) for the color changes to be actually visible.

When i rotate a side it almost comes off?
@5MinutesBlender2 жыл бұрын
Possibly, the origins of your cubes are lying at the center of the very first cube (which is the default behavior if you do not change them explicitly). We have to set the origins of the cubes at their geometric centers or at the center of the large cube (world center). Otherwise some unexpected offset can occur during a rotation. It is explained at 4:10 in this tutorial.

My sides are the same colour, i cant make them different. I have all different materials and all
@5MinutesBlender2 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris, if you assign a material for an object, by default it applies to all sides. Even if you add multiple materials, only one material is active at a time for all sides. You need to go to the edit mode, select an individual face, and apply one particular material for that face. Then select another face, and apply another material for that face. This way you can get multiple materials for different sides of an object. If you followed this, and still you see only one material active on all sides, please let me know.

@@5MinutesBlender It worked. Thank you. Just a long process selecting individual faces. But still looks cool
