I was thinking the exact opposite, actually! I think this look really ages her. I think Lisa has nailed it, as always, though. The look is beautifully done because it looks so real--- and maybe that is what is bugging me about it. Some skin tones are meant to freckle; other's aren't. I don't think Lisa would freckle naturally so there is that struggle between real and real-like that doesn't convince me. I think it made her look tired and drained (even though she looked sun-kissed). See what I mean? There it is again that real vs real-like thing! 😀
@MissHardmode3 жыл бұрын
@@adrianacantisani I dont think so, I've seen quite a few darker skinned people with freckles... my cousin is one of those, freckles are not a pasty white people thing, go google it... I see so many olive girls with freckles. And I disagree that it aged her, she looks very young and fresh to me.
@adrianacantisani3 жыл бұрын
@@MissHardmode I agree, it's not about skin colour-- dark skinned and light skinned get freckles but not everybody gets freckles... it just seemed to me that on Lisa, while extremely natural looking (the technique) it looked unnatural on HER... but it's just my opinion.

The blush and eyeshadow remind me a lot of the 'mask' my disease produces as a tell before an attack. And, strangely, most of my freckles are round dots. (I'm a 'pasty' person of color, by the way, and in Europe I do not 'tan' easily.)

I love this blush look - I do version of this all the time. I have rosacea and I prefer to work with it than try to cover it completely. I pick a beige pink blush and go in a c shape and then across my nose and it just livens up my super pale skin and blends in my rosacea.

Same here! I tend to just blend blush into the rosacea but mostly just apply it in areas where I don’t have it. So the current blush trend is really fun because I just have to add the very tops of my cheeks and my nose, because the other areas are already rosy!

I love freckles! I've never covered on a model, I have my freckles policy. :) I genrally use a light base, blending the foundation with an illuminating or hydrating cream, just for making the base more uniform. Once I did the makeup on a beautiful model, she had such a lovely face full of freckles that I just highlitght them with a strobe cream and a blush, no foundation at all. So natural, so gorgeous!

Lash tutorial, yes please…. Question…I have a number of natural freckles on my face. In the summer, they darken and a few more become visible. I have always loved my freckles. They cause me a number of problems, however, with makeup application, my base makeup shade is usually the lightest shade available by more vendors. I love the look of BB or CC creams, but I have foundations in a variety of coverage levels. The problem I have, and I don’t know how to fix it, is when I apply foundation I developed an obvious “film” over my freckles. I this no matter what product I use or how much I blend. My regular skin is blotchy, sensitive, and sometimes ruddy. Therefore, I really need some type of base makeup but I don’t like my freckles drawing attention to my use of such base. I can try to cover my freckles, but that requires a lot of concealer and base and it doesn’t look good. I want my freckles to shine but I don’t want them to be blurred away by my base. Any ideas?

It's the lighting... most professional make up artists know about lighting/camera and what is needed for video, especially beauty videos as well as beauty photography. It's difficult for makekup to translate on camera which is why you hear people in the beauty community here on youtbue "I don't know if you'll be able to see this on camera"... while some beginner influencers use filters (which you can select on some cameras), they do that because their lighting set up isn't enough (professional lighting is expensive) and they need to compensate for that by adding in filter. One ring light isn't that great. I'm a semi pro photographer so I know how lighting works. I wanted to add that you can see her facial hair and if there is a filter it normally filters that out. As a photographer I can see the texture of her hair super crisp looking which filters normally smooth out.

@@JyoSehrawat That's the camera losing focus because of the hand movement. Her settings on the camera might need to be changed. Every camera is different so if I knew the camera, I could figure out why she loses focus. Auto focus is not great with some cameras.
