I don't work in After Effects alot but I watched this whole video from start to end without skipping because it was so interesting seeing just a black background slowly turning into the Loki Intro
@Bruuze3 жыл бұрын
Man you read my mind, I love that title sequence so much. Another thing to note for those who want to recreate it that wasn't touched on in the video: The glow effect applied to the text changes to be more or less intense when the characters swap. This will help add even more variety to the text. (But don't be afraid to play around with it, the more creative you get with it, the better)

Honestly, how do you figure out how to do some of these effects? Even if you know the program in and out it seems like one would still need to go through a bunch of trial and error in order to figure out what works and what doesn't, amazing stuff!

Years of trying effects, and playing with them helps to figure out how each effect will work. Back in my college days I used to think the same, but after several years of using the program you can almost look at something and predict what effects would most likely get you the desired outcome. :)

Every time I watch the sequence I’ve often wondered how they made this. I was assuming they just key framed it all but the way you have set it up makes a lot of sense and seems like how they actually did it since it reflects the accuracy of the original with the precise frame swapping. Excellent tutorial!
