I’d really love it if they just let us craft at least two per week at the start. There are people in my guild who have 0 tier despite doing LFR, normal, heroic, and keys each week. Some like myself only have a single tier piece, while others like our monk healer, one of our hunters, and both of our shamans have legit gotten every tier drop item and multiple tier options from their vault. They have had 4pc for weeks and because of the class restrictions for the modules, they get disenchanted since they are the only ones that can use the module. I really hope they look at this type of data and make an adjustment. Moving forward I’d love the tier modules to be opened to all classes for trading purposes.

Agree... I raid normal+HC every week on 1 char, plus get my 3 m+ vaults on that char every week as well. I have 4 other characters where I get 3 pvp vaults and 1 m+ vault and out of those 5 chars with 20-21 vault options every week, only the one that raids have finally gotten 2-set while all the other 4 characters are at 0 or 1 item still. It honestly just makes me not want to play until a few weeks after the catalyst is out, because it feels so shitty to face people in pvp with tier bonus, or do m+ with people that vastly outperform you because they have tier bonus and you don't.

The resources are pretty cheap if you player in the zone. I probably did more grinding than others because I wanted to unlock the cypher gear level to get 252 item drops from the zone because I was joining a friends casual normal raiding guild and didn’t want to be a drag on the group. I have stopped farming the area hard for several weeks now but have gathered close to 50k cosmic flux. So seeing the costs I shouldn’t have to farm any more and if I do my mythic dungeons I can now just look out for good items from the vaults for tier catalyst upgrade

I got 1 piece of tier gear the first week and nothing else the entire time, only a 252 from the raid too which is the only source that can’t be upgraded, really wish they’d change that. I see my guildies get a ton of 272-275 tier pieces from their vault and I haven’t gotten jack shit. And it’s the most frustrating when they’re running around in their 2 or 4 piece and then have so little empathy to wonder why I’m whining so much.

should work and as you said, that would be a great way to get head/shoulder/chest mythic tier pieces before actually killing the bosses. with the downside, that you will not have the increased ilvl on chest or shoulders which the actual drops from lords of bread and rygelon would have.

I believe the ilvl stays the same in the output. It doesn't round down or up to LFR/Normal. Sandworn gear should say 246.

Well the Creation Cataclyst has been in the game since 9.2 launched. Just blizzard hasn't flipped the switch yet. Valor was added in patch 9.0.5. So it wasn't there from the start of Shadowlands. Which is probably why blizzard couldn't make it retroactive.

I have the BOE heroic cloak, on the PTR it is accepted in the CC, which translate into heroic "tier" cloak (cloak slot does not have tier set bonus, but the mog is). EDIT: BOEs are still considered raid gear, so definitely.

After killing 3-5 teir Bosses on lfr/normal/heroic every one i have Been able to kill at least since the launch of sepulca and so far looted zero teir, i cant wait to get this, so in rougly 6-7 weeks i can finaly have 4 set becaus i dont trust the raid to give Jack shit atm, concidring i have killed close to 70 Bosses now and so far looted 2 None teir/trinket/weapon items, 2 items of of 70 bossses,,.. good game blizzard

In normal/heroic/mythic, on 2 pieces per boss drop. In a group of 20, odds of getting a piece are pretty slim unless you are in a group that truly monitors your need and assures that people don’t just roll to hand it to a friend in the group (which is a real thing); and one of my groups allow pigs to come in (usually buddies, and incidentally they only have time to do the tier boss) and vault rng is pretty slim too. I have to be a little miffed it took them this long to implement the system.

I really hope they remove the 1 item per week restriction... its already way too late for this system and adding another time gate on it is ridiculous. Ive been doing 8 M+'s every week plus PVP and im yet to see a tier item. Seems ill be able to get the tier set in a month yey nice game.

Same, I’ve had 6-8 unlocks for all 5 weeks on lock and not a single piece of tier. Meanwhile I have buddies with their 4 piece having only unlocked 3 slots each week…what a game.

Had 2 slots first week got 278 tier Gloves.. have had 6 slots every week since and nothing. Atleast I got some 262 Shoulders today so I can make 2 pcs on the 12th

Maybe try the raid? I’ve been running LFR and Norm and I’ve gotten 3 in 3 weeks plus the chance of getting one in the vault which I haven’t. You aren’t supposed to get everything all at once. It’s about the grind. If they made it easy people would unsub after a month and wait for new content.

You will get the transmog set piece. If you open the sets menu under collections you can see what item you will get at each slot. It also functions like a bit of a stat optimization if the raid piece bracers for example have Haste/Vers and the your bracers have crit/mastery.. it depends what you need ofc. By a quick look it does seem like most classes have 1-2 bis stat items among bracers, cloak, belt, boots.

See I feel the opposite. Part of the fun for me is gettin on every week after reset and grinding out the raid hopin to get tier pieces. Usually once I get everything I start fallin off. Nothin left to work for. 🤷🏻‍♂️ maybe I’m alone in that tho. I just like to get that false sense of accomplishment and work for the pieces. 😂😂

no, but you can transform a m+ piece into a raid piece. that’s mostly for stats.

@@jimbo288 I'm not sure how does it work exactly for transmog, e.g. 278 m+ piece would be transformed into a mythic item, and a 265 into heroic, but i don't know how's it in between like 272 or 275.

nope, instead it will be the Sandworn, 252 and 246 are like 2-3 stat points apart, by that i mean literally 2-3 points, dont worry about it being lower, the tier set bonuses are way more important.

I agree, I don't do M+, raid etc, I like to explore everything solo, that's just how I like it, so looking at this upgrade system, the only way I'll be able to get tier sets is with the sandworn gear, which looks like it'll take forever to collect them all.

@@fluffyduck72 forever? no actually it wouldnt, i been casually getting relics since day 1 and i intend to get them more often. what you have to do on a daily basis to maximize your relic gains is complete your dailies, loot the Sandworn Chest once per day and kill the sand rares that appear in that section of the zone.
