Hey Tom, just wanted to drop a comment to say I’ve really enjoyed your content! I’m a content creator as well (do drum covers on KZbin) and have learned a lot on how I can continuously improve my sound, camera image and edit...will try and do a live stream experience soon! Yeah, someone else recommended that plugin too, but I already had Photoshop, so this worked for me. I've also gotten in the habit of creating my own Final Cut Pro presets for editing and wow, it saves a _ton_ of time!

As I'm about to start using ECamm - this is great news, a free Alt way to make a LUT is in DaVinci Resolve, or Color Finale in Final cut can also make a custom LUT that will be identical to your footage! I love this and I'm in Doc's Zoom class with you right now haha. I made the lut from a frame that was just from the SD card in Final Cut, but I could've used an Ecamm frame. I'd stay away from Zoom since it does funky things to image quality.

@@tombuck Thank you so much for replying! I finally figured out what the problem is, after searching Blackmagic’s forum and Reddit: apparently, LUTs in their cameras need to be less than 1.5 MB. To achieve that, I needed to open a project in DaVinci Resolve, apply your LUT to it (while making no adjustments to the LUT), and then export the “new“ LUT as a “33 point“ LUT. It greatly reduced the size of the LUT, to around 774 kB, and I was able to import the LUT successfully to my 6K. Thank you again for all of your Contant, and for responding to my question. You can add LUTs and adjustments to each scene within Ecamm. And I think there's a way to do it for each specific camera, but I'm not 100% sure how at the moment.
