A passionate gardener, cancer survivor, author and psychotherapist, Deborah Marqui, LCSW, takes you on a tour of her Healing Gardens at Stone Hill Farm in St. Charles, Ill., and shares how to create a healing garden for your home. A healing garden can be planted in a special area in the yard or it can be contained in a small container for your deck or balcony. At Deborah’s home, each of her gardens has a different theme, and every garden has a story. For Deborah, the stories are lessons learned in her healing journey. Thank you for sharing your story and your beautiful gardens! I, too, am an LCSW with a permaculture love, actively looking for the right property. After reading "Mad in America", I am thinking of creating a place of coming to and being for those who need peace the most. I consider gardens a social justice issue, since those who could benefit the most may live in concrete jungles. Anyway - thank you again!

Deborah, I absolutely love your garden. I been working on my property to do a vegetable garden but as time when by i felt the need to find places in our property where i can find peace. I've been slowly creating a healing / cottage garden the past 2 years but am discouraged as I have new neighbors they have 2 acres and choose to park their campers trucks and off road vehicles next to my fence😬I'm. In zone 8 I'm thinking of planting emerald green arborvitae next to the fence hopefully it will grow and block their ugliness

Your a natural witch everything you did . You put intentions, you manifested a creation while watching nature. You are in mental health as a healer, and you were highly intuitive to the idea of each representation per area in intentions.
