Hi - I followed same steps, but windows 7 machine is not coming up, though the notification prompts as Windows started, but there is no "play" representation below the node instead it is "resume", tried and reconfigured multiple times, but no luck. Kindly advise how to go with this issue.

Unable to run Fortinet from Eve ng. Putty has thrown an error (Network error:connection refused). I have disabled Hyper -V related stuffs. but no luck yet..When I click Play VM and getting Intel vT-e/EPT is not supported on this platform.! THis kills my day 3 now!

I installed eve-ng on a windows 7 machine using vmware workstation 15. Put a lab together using your windows image, and everything was working wonderfully. I could ping all around. I created a span session and got it working, however, the wireshark on the pc qemu image you provided will not pick up the icmp packets. Any ideas? It's odd considering everything else worked fine,
