So what about me that’s overweight and trying to lose weight but at the same time my doctor and nutritionist tells me cardio burns calories not fat and I need to do weight traning to build muscle to burn fat to lose weight. Is this an option for me? Thanks.
@UlissesWorld
@UlissesWorld 3 ай бұрын
Absolutely, my man! Your doctor and nutritionist are on point with their advice. Integrating weight training into your fitness regimen is a fantastic strategy for anyone looking to lose weight and improve their overall health. Here’s why: muscle is more metabolically active than fat, which means the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn, even when you’re not working out. This doesn't just help with immediate calorie burning during workouts, but it boosts your metabolism long-term. Now, don’t get me wrong, cardio is great for cardiovascular health and can help create a calorie deficit, which is essential for weight loss. However, combining cardio with strength training is where you see the magic happen. You can start with basic compound movements like squats, deadlifts, and bench presses. These exercises work multiple muscle groups and will help you build strength and muscle mass more efficiently. Remember, consistency is key. It’s not about hitting the gym hard once or twice, it’s about regular, consistent workouts that you can maintain over time. Also, don’t forget the importance of nutrition in this equation. Make sure you’re eating a balanced diet that supports your workout regimen-high in protein, with a good balance of carbs and fats to fuel your recovery and muscle growth.

Hey, my man! I hear you on the budget constraints, and it's great that you're looking to supplement wisely to support your fitness goals. Let's break it down to keep it simple and effective! First off, a solid choice is creatine monohydrate. It's one of the most researched supplements out there and is known for boosting muscle strength and size, which can really help you maximize your workouts. For creatine, you don't need to start with a loading phase if that feels too much, you can stick to about 5 grams daily, which is just about one teaspoon. This amount is effective and budget-friendly. Another great option is whey protein isolate, especially after your workouts. It's excellent for muscle recovery and growth. Just one scoop, which is typically about 30 grams, mixed with water will do the trick. This can be particularly useful if you're not able to get enough protein from your diet. Lastly, don't underestimate the power of a good multivitamin to cover any nutritional gaps, especially when you're on a tight budget and might not get all the nutrients from food alone. How do you feel about starting with these supplements?

What about woman taking creatine what amounts should they start on amount wise
@UlissesWorld
@UlissesWorld 3 ай бұрын
Hey! Absolutely, women can definitely benefit from incorporating creatine into their fitness regimen just as men do. The amount of creatine to start with doesn't necessarily need to differ by gender. Typically, the standard protocol involves starting with a loading phase, where you take about 15-20 grams of creatine per day for the first week to saturate your muscles quickly (this loading phase is optional). After that, you shift to a maintenance phase where 5 grams per day is common. This approach helps you maximize the benefits like increased muscle strength and quicker recovery. Always remember, it's crucial to stay hydrated and monitor how your body responds to supplementation. How do you feel about trying this approach to see how it enhances your training and recovery?
