I love the new startup vlogs! Definitely a huge improvement over the last one, as now you’re showing us what you’re actually working on

Yes, I’m also glad that I can provide actual value with these vlogs, as opposed to just showing some fake “founder lifestyle” videos

Hey Samuel, did you give a thought of using the streak system, like snapchat, in your app. Where, for example, if you hit your daily heart points or daily calorie mark then you can share that with your friends, and you can build up a streak around it(diet, heart points, weekly workout goals, etc.). This will make people more accountable, connected and motivated. I liked your video very much. If you liked this suggestion then don't forget my share in profits.

That's an awesome idea. I really like it. Thanks a lot for writing the comment. I will add this to my notes now so we can implement it in the near future :)

I love learning from your pitchdeck sessions! There are enough people who work out, but no one shows venture capital and startup founder strategies.

Great video! Just my 2 cents: Have you thought about using no-code / low-code platforms like Glide Apps or others? Especially when you are planning to first test a prototype with a few close friends to receive feedback, it might make sense to first build a "throw away" prototype which allows you to change stuff quickly, integrate feedback etc. With an intermediate technical understanding you can get quite far in a very short time, even implementing 3rd party tools (e.g. LLMs) via APIs, without the need to build everything from scratch. Best case scenario: The app idea is a hit, you have a clear vision and you can confidently start building a real iOS app that already integrates the feedback of the first users. Worst case: You find out that - even after pivoting the app idea - the idea isn't the right one, but find it out much earlier and with way less resources spent. Beste Grüsse aus der Schweiz

Bro, this is a great idea. Thanks a lot for suggesting this. We're already half-way through building a real (Swift-based) app, but I should consider this maybe for new features and stuff like that. I wish I had know about this earlier ahahha

Great content, Samuel Bosch. Looking forward to seeing your next upload from you. I smashed that thumbs up button on your video. Keep up the awesome work! Your insights on the pitch strategy were really valuable. Have you considered how you might leverage user feedback to iterate on the app's features post-launch?

Much appreciated, bro! Yes, I definitely wanna make user feedback the main priority, as it is the only effective way to continuously improve the product over time 💪📈

How do you plan to implement the AI calls? I think it could be helpful to call you if you might be skipping a scheduled gym time or on a route where your gym is. I think getting a call that isn't basically just a notification to get you to go to the gym from an AI wouldn't be incredibly helpful. Seems like an interesting idea that could be successful with the right team/funding. Good luck!

These are some very good questions that I am still figuring out. Thanks for raising them. Really appreciated. Yeah, we've gotta figure out a way to use these AI calls to not just be a fancy notification system, but actually helpful to the users

@SamuelBoschMIT I actually think it being a fancy notification system could be helpful since getting a call is more interruptive than a normal notification. I was trying to convey that personally, I'd need to have a relationship with a human for calls to improve my adherence to a workout regimen. I tend to have motivation issues and must rely on discipline to accomplish things and having human support can add some motivation. I like the social aspect of what you're planning since it's much easier to get users to use social media than it is to have them hire a personal trainer (as you outlined in the video). This social aspect and general design of the app is far more important in my opinion than even implementing any AI features. Maybe to assist in creating workouts but the AI calling I see as unimportant comparatively to the actual app design. I also like the idea of logging in with just my phone number.

Yo, you shouldn’t take an ice bath after the gym because there have been lots of studies which found that it mitigates muscular hypertrophy I think I heard Andrew Huberman say this
