I loved the way you were creative at using the squares to build the whole vector art. I actually thought that you'd use the circle shape to build some of the curved corners, but I was shocked that you used only the square shape to build this whole mascot. I really enjoyed this video and I Learnt A Lot. Thanks!

It speeds things up when you think in shapes and use rounding features.

@@PPLLUVProcess I just wished you can create a full video process where you use the rounding features to build a vector art using shapes.

For years I am a big fan of your courses on LinkedIn learning, and this video is really awesome specially when you simplify the way of thinking with shapes to create a well balanced and structured logo mark, I wish you create more videos focusing on designing logos like this one, man you’re the best🤩💪

I have another on this channel titled ‘Creating a Brand Mark from Scratch’ you could watch. I think that is the title? I’ll have more content like this soon though. Thank you for watching!

Impressive. You make it look very easy.

The more you think in shapes the easier it is to solve shape building. All these principles can be used in any vector app too like Affinity, CorelDraw etc.

Hey Von, this is really great. Thanks so much for sharing your process! Even for the veterans, it's always informative to see how someone else works. (That offset path technique -- man, why haven't I figured that out previously!) One question: why work in points? I assume it's more efficient to work in whole number units, as opposed to constantly adding inch fractions (which I will admit slows me down sometimes)?
@PPLLUVProcess2 жыл бұрын
You basically figured it out, simpler math. In my movies you’ll see fractional numbers which usually means I blew thinks up for production value, but I try to work in whole numbers. Thank you.

The big problem how can we choose color
@PPLLUVProcess2 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t classify as a big problem, knowing your client and their audience or industry will give insights on picking color. Color is the easiest to explore and experiment with. Part of upfront research is to ask a client what colors they like and dislike etc.
