very good video. Thank you for showing so many possibilities to create a reese bass.

I want to try to replicate Kevin's original on the virtual Casio CZ V from Arturia.
@ThomannSynthesizersАй бұрын
There is a VST? Didn’t knew that. Would be very interesting to hear 👀

@@ThomannSynthesizers Yip. And VirtualCZ, which has been out for a while, is a bargain and sounds great. Easier to use than the hardware too.

Very cool, thanks! 🔥

Shout out to Olli Larkin's VirtualCZ, a Casio CZ emulator. Picked it up from plugin boutique for about 19eur to try some of these ideas out. Great sounding plugin.

I use a moog sub 25 for Reece bass , it's perfect for that

Got to try this, thanks 🫡

Can you remove the fundamental with just an EQ ? I understand Serum has the option to remove it. But if I want to recreate reese in a different VST, I may not have that option. Great tutorial by the way!
@ThomannSynthesizersАй бұрын
Hey, sure possible as well but imo it’s not that clean and perhaps you would need an extra channel for the sub, which perhaps has a little less glue. But worth a try nevertheless 🙏🏻☺️

Hey Jonas, kannst du mir sagen, wo du den "Tisch" her hast bzw. wie man so etwas nennt? Etwas von genau der Art und Größe suche ich schon länger... Grüße von einem anderen Jonas 😉
@ThomannSynthesizersАй бұрын
Hey Jonas 🙂 Also ist eigentlich alles ausgemessen und selbst gebaut. Sind standard genormte Gewinderohre. Gibt es in verschiedenen Längen, Chrom oder Verzinkt. Holz ebenso dran angepasst. Lg :)

WHY SERUM man 😓, that awful one dimensional sounding vst that has the tone of a metal scratching glass is ruining all electronic music!! “ WITH SO MANY SOFTWARE / HARDWARE OPTIONS LET’S USE ALL THE SAME VST AND SOUND THE SAME AND KILL EVERY GLIMC OF INDIVIDUAL CREATIVITY” 🤦🏼♂️
@learnerslikeusАй бұрын
Simmer down, fireball. 😅
@ThomannSynthesizersАй бұрын
Hey, first of all because i do like it’s versatility and because it is a synth many people use if chosen this one 🫡
@claridge7549Ай бұрын
If you don’t like how serum sounds, you can apply these fundamentals to any software synth.
@Bigger-Circuitry-Bigger-SOUNDАй бұрын
@@claridge7549 well Omnisphere sounds amazing, all G Force VSTs are superb too, despite the personal taste i think there is a fundamental thing WRONG here that with so many options like never before to express individual creativity people choose to copy each other and now we have this awful toyish sounding “melodic techno” e “UK commercial tech-house” that sounds ALL THE SAME!! the sheep heard theory at it’s best
@Bigger-Circuitry-Bigger-SOUNDАй бұрын
@@ThomannSynthesizers exactly this is the problem “ LET’S MAKE EVERYONE THE SAME REESE BASS WITH THE SAME SERUM AND SOUND EVERYBODY THE SAME TILL WE PUKE “, as a musical instruments channel you might have the moral obligation to challenge artist to embrace individual creativity and explore new instruments and new ways of doing it not embrace “ A MONO CHROMATIC MUSICAL WORLD “ … your artistic partner (the guy with long hairs) he is an example of combining tools and workflow in his own unique way (i like him a lot in his persistent effort to embrace uniqueness). also i don’t think that educating young inexperienced artists “ grab serum “ will make any good commercially to thomann but any way this is my 2 cent, if every one want to invest their life emulating other artist than let it be so 🤷🏼♂️
